1 - Know יהוה

The Patriarchs called upon the name of יהוה, but Moses was given a more intimate revelation of the name. The omnipresent יהוה appeared to Moses by the name, Yah, revealing that Yah would become his personal Salvation. This Hebrew verb for salvation, which is in its feminine form, Y'shuah, is clearly shown to represent the man, Yeshua. This concept is demonstrated in this book by "Salvation" [Yeshua]. Consequently, in some mysterious way, יהוה revealed Himself to Moses as Yah Yeshua!

The Creator of heaven and earth did appear unto Abraham by the name of יהוה, for it is written:

And he said unto him, I am יהוה that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

Genesis 15:7

Elohym also appeared unto Jacob by this name, for again it is written:

And, behold, יהוה stood above it, and said, I am יהוה, Elohym of Abraham, thy father, and the Elohym of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

Genesis 28:13

The patriarch, Abraham, called upon the name of יהוה, as it is written:

Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of יהוה.

Genesis 13:4

Abraham also swore by the name of יהוה, as it is written:

And Abram said to the King of Sodom, I have lifted up mine hand unto יהוה, the most high Elohym, the possessor of heaven and earth,

Genesis 14:22

Abraham's son thus continued in the footsteps of his father by calling on the name of יהוה, as it is written:

And he [Isaac] builded an altar there, and called upon the name of יהוה.

Genesis 26:25

It is apparent that Moses was given a much deeper revelation of the name. For when Moses questions:

...behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, the Elohym of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say unto me, what is His name? What shall I say unto them?

Exodus 3:13

The Creator replied:

I am that I am [Eh'Yeh asher Eh'Yeh].

and he said:

Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, “I am [Eh'Yeh] hath sent me unto you.”

Exodus 3:14

Every minor detail of the Hebrew is speaking unto us, which is why it is imperative to meditate upon these things constantly, so that the Holy Spirit can speak unto us. The Creator did not go with Moses in His fullness, as "I am that I am" [Eh'Yeh asher Eh'Yeh] but rather as the singular, "I am" [Eh'Yeh]. This book will demonstrate that the singular "I am" [Eh'Yeh] of Exodus 3:14 is the divine essence that came forth from יהוה, as the word of יהוה; to be clothed in a mortal body, and that Yeshua the man declared the name of the Father within Him by saying, "I am." "I am that I am," means "I was, I am, I will continue to be, who I was, I am, I will continue to be.” It is represented by the full form of the divine name, יהוה. "I am," means, "I was, I am, I will continue to be." [See note #1 & #2]. This is represented by the short form of the divine name, Yah. Moses kept the name of "I am that I am" in remembrance by pronouncing the name [יהוה / EE-AH-UW-AH] [See note #3]! Moses kept the name of "I am" in remembrance by pronouncing the name [Yah / EE-AH] [See note #3]! Moses is the first person in the scriptures to say the name of Yah. Moreover, Moses was also given the first clue as to the relevance of the name.

2 - Yah Tabernacles in Flesh

Moses begins to reveal the relevance of the name:

Yah is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation [Yeshua], he is my Elohym, and I will prepare him an habitation...,

Exodus 15:2 (emphasis mine)

The key phrase here is, "Yah has become salvation [Yeshua]." The Hebrew word for salvation is Y'shuah, which is feminine, is "Salvation" in this context representing a name, even Yeshua, as I have implied above, or just a verb describing what Yah is to be to His people? Surely Yah has become our Salvation, but much more is being said here. The phrase, "He is my Elohym, and I will prepare him an habitation," gives a valuable clue. The Hebrew word for "prepare an habitation" is derived from navah [See note #4]. This does mean "home", but with the idea of "a resting place". In this context it is spelled an've-huw, which is first-person imperfect of the hit-peel form, which is the causative form. This means that someone is causing a literal habitation to be made for Yah who has become Salvation [Yeshua]. A place was prepared for the Spirit of Yah to be able to abide with His people. This context strongly suggests that the reader must consider the dual meaning of navah to completely understand the passage. When Yah tabernacles among His people, they will praise and laud Him, making Yah feel at home, that is, welcoming Yah home [See note #5].

Moses did build the Tabernacle where the Spirit of Yah could dwell among the children of Israel. However, neither the Tabernacle, nor the later Temples, proved to be permanent dwelling places. For the Temples were destroyed due to the sins of the people. Furthermore, the Scripture declares that Yah had a habitation prepared for Him so that Yah can be a priestly servant unto יהוהand act as a mediator between יהוה and mankind so that Yah can become our Salvation [Yeshua]. For His habitation was His own mortal body, as it is written:

… Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

But he spake of the temple of his body.

John 2:19, 21

Moses confirms that this is the correct understanding of the passage, because he writes:

יהוה is a man of war...

Exodus 15:3

However, יהוה is omnipresent, which causes us to dig deeper into this context to see how יהוה became a man, because we know that divinity can never actually become humanity. However, divinity can clothe Himself in humanity, and by this means, tabernacle among His people. In the book of Hebrews, it speaks of a body being prepared for the Messiah. Still, the passage is a paraphrase of Psalms 40:6, which only speaks of the ears of the Messiah being opened. The relationship between these two phrases can only be fully understood by comparing them to the Torah of the Master and servant as found in Exodus 21:5-6. For the servant who loves his wife, children and master and thus does not want to go free, must put his ear upon the doorpost of the house and allow his master to bore a hole in his ear. Then the servant can serve his master forever. Further, the phrase, "to open the ears," is a Hebrew term that actually means "to bore a hole in the ear." By doing this, the servant is giving his earthly body forever unto the service of his master. Now, one can have a better understanding, as they compare these two verses:

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened.

Psalm 40:6

Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me.

Hebrews 10:5

The priest was to be a servant at the altar and behind the veil. [See Numbers 18:7.] Likewise, the Messiah was destined to be a servant / priest forever:

יהוה hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Mel-chiz-e-deq.

Psalm 110:4

In order for Yah, who is divine essence [spirit], to be able to serve in the physical realm, he had to have a body to serve with. It is clear that Yah had a body prepared for Him, so that He could serve יהוה on behalf of His children; and be able to dwell with His children forever. However, in the Aramaic Peshitta New Testament, this idea of Yah taking on a mortal body is made even more plain:

In sacrifices and offerings you did not delight, for [with] a body you have clothed me.

Hebrews 10:5

The body of Yah is His Sanctuary through which He has appeared to His people. By appearing in this manner, Yah has caused both Judah and Israel to stumble, as it is written:

And he shall be for a sanctuary; [and] for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel...

Isaiah 8:14 [See note #6.]

Yah dwelled in a bodily Sanctuary, so He and His children can be for signs and wonders in the earth:

Behold, I and the children whom יהוה hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel...

Isaiah 8:18

Therefore, יהוה prepared a bodily Sanctuary for Yah to dwell in, not only for Yah Yeshua to be a sign and wonder in Israel, but for His children to be signs and wonders before Israel.

It is the Sanctuary or body of Yah that causes the non-believing Jews to stumble and Israel to be divided. The Jews reject any notion that Yah could possibly come in the flesh. The believers in the Messiah, who are predominantly from northern Israel, cannot come to an agreement among themselves on how to explain the mystery of how Elohym, even Yah, came in flesh. It is this mystery that divides the Trinitarians from the Twinitarians and the oneness people. [See note #7]. Yet, a careful study of these verses in the clear, unbiased Hebrew Scriptures is the key to understanding and the key to uniting these divided peoples. This is also the key to helping people do away with the traditions of men, namely, the tradition of substituting the name with Adonay [my Lord] or "The LORD" (all capitals), as in the standard English texts. The Temples were destroyed due to the sins of the people. On account of this, Yah had a bodily Sanctuary prepared for Him, in order to save His people from their sins, to be enabled to dwell in the midst of His people forever. As it is written:

And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call his name Yeshua: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:21

After revealing the distinction between Yah and יהוה, by showing that יהוה prepared a bodily Sanctuary for Yah to dwell in, that Yah could be our Salvation [Yeshua]. Moses continued on to reveal the oneness between Yah and יהוה. For it is written:

Thy right hand, O יהוה, is become glorious in power; thy right hand, O יהוה, hath dabbed in pieces the enemy.

Exodus 15:6.

Yah is the right hand of יהוה, by which יהוה performed all these things. Again it is written:

Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.

Exodus 15:12:3

Yah is the right hand of יהוה which is stretched out to the earth. Moses continues:

...by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone.

Exodus 15:16

Yah is the arm of יהוה by which יהוה extends His power to the earth. Therefore, this entire context proclaims how the omnipresent יהוה became a man of war [Exodus 15:3], by revealing that יהוה extended His right hand to the earth. And the right hand of יהוה was clothed with a mortal body. Then this context reveals that Yah is the right hand of יהוה, who would become our salvation [Yeshua].

3 - Yah, the Word of יהוה

In Psalm 68, a clear contrast was shown in the original Hebrew between יהוה, who was riding on the heaven of heavens and dwelling among the angels, and Yah, who is revealed to be riding upon the desert places of the earth. This contrast was made obscure by the scribes when they replaced the name of יהוה with the title Adonay, which is rendered in the common English text as "The Lord", as opposed to "The LORD". For, "The LORD" [in all capitals] would have designated the divine name יהוה. In the following verse, the name of יהוה is restored to the text where it belongs. [See note #8.]

Sing unto Elohym, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto יהוה; Selah: To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth SEND OUT HIS VOICE, AND THAT A MIGHTY VOICE.

Psalm 68:32-33

Yah, the voice of יהוה, is revealed to be riding upon the desert places of the earth in clear contrast to יהוה who is riding upon the heavens. The Hebrew word for heaven is shamayim [See note #9], and the Hebrew word for deserts is arabot [See note #10]. Therefore, the translation into English ought to reveal this distinction, rather than obscuring the distinction by translating arabot as "heavens", as is also done in the King James common English text. However, here, "heavens" is corrected to "deserts":

Sing to Elohym sing praises to his name; extol him that rideth upon the deserts by HIS NAME YAH, and rejoice before him.

Psalm 68:4 [See note #10]

The reason why Yah is shown riding upon the desert places of the earth, begins to be revealed in this verse:

... but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

Psalms 68:6

Dry land sounds a lot like a desert to me! The rebellious souls are dwelling in a dry, thirsty desert, without hope in the world. So, יהוה sent forth Yah, the voice and word of יהוה, to the desert regions of the earth, in order to give hope to the hopeless, as it is written:

Thou hast ascended on high; thou hast led captivity captive; thou hast received gifts for men [literally: "you have taken gifts among men"]; yea, for the rebellious also that Yah Elohym might dwell among them.

Psalms 68:18 [See note #11]

This same concept is presented in the New Testament concerning Yeshua the Messiah:

... For I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Matthew 9:13

But "...I  am sent rather to the  lost  sheep of the  house of the of Israel.

Matthew 10:6

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Matthew 15:24 KJV

For the son of man has come, so he can seek and make alive, those who are Lost. [See note #12]

Luke 19:10 Aramaic

Yah came forth from יהוה out of heaven to ride upon the desert places of the earth, in order to bring to the lost, the unspeakable gift of יהוה. For the desert is a place which lacks water to sustain life, and Yah came to bring water to those in the desert. Yah came to bring the life-giving gift of Living Waters to the rebellious souls who were dying of thirst in the desert.

This distinction between יהוה in heaven and Yah upon the earth is revealed again in Psalm 68. Here too, the scribes sought to obscure this distinction by replacing the name of יהוה with the title Adonay [rendered "The Lord", in the common English texts].

The chariots of Elohym are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: יהוה is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

Psalm 68:17 [See note #13]

In this context above, יהוה is dwelling with the angels in heaven, just as Yah dwelled among men at Sinai and in the holy place [See note #14]. The following context will forcibly demonstrate this distinction between יהוה and Yah:

Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that Yah Elohym might dwell among them.

Psalms 68:18 [See note #11]

Here in verse 18, Yah Elohym is destined to dwell with men upon the earth, but above in verse 17, יהוה is dwelling among the angels in heaven.

יהוה is still riding upon the heaven of heavens, dwelling among the angels. In the distant past, יהוה gave His word, which in context is translated that יהוה sent forth His voice. The voice or word that יהוה gave unto mankind is revealed in this context to be Yah. And, Yah rode upon the desert places of the earth, seeking out the dying, and even the lifeless, so that HE could give them the gift of יהוה, which is the waters of life. Yah brought healing and salvation to those living upon the earth. However, to make this gift of life available to all of mankind, Yah had to first ascend up to the highest heaven. It is because of these things that every believer is given the measure of the gift of the Holy Spirit. This is the gift of which Paul speaks as he expounds on the meaning of these contexts:

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of MESSIAH.

Ephesians 4:7

It was prophesied in Psalms 68:18 that YAH would give gifts unto mankind. Here in Ephesians, this prophecy is being fulfilled, because the Ephesians are receiving this gift by measure. Paul continues his thought with this paraphrase:

... When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and GAVE GIFTS UNTO MEN.

Ephesians 4:8

It is not enough to know that Yah, who became Yeshua, ascended unto heaven. Paul in addition, lets the reader know that Yah first descended into Sheol (hell):

... What is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Ephesians 4:9

Yah descended first into Sheol, to preach unto the spirits imprisoned there, just as the apostle Peter also confirms (1 Peter 3:19). While there, Yah took the keys of death and Sheol (hell) [Revelation 1:18]. By coming forth from the place of the departed spirits, called Sheol, and by taking back his physical body from the tomb.

The picture drawn by all these verses begins with יהוה riding upon the heaven of heavens, dwelling among the angels. Then יהוה sent out His voice [word], who is Yah, in order for Yah to ride upon the desert places of the earth, seeking for the lost and rebellious souls who were dwelling there. Afterward, Yah descended into Sheol (while His mortal body laid lifeless in the tomb) and preached unto the spirits in prison. When Yah ascended up out of Sheol, he took back His mortal body, taking the keys of death and hell with him. Yah Yeshua was the comforter unto the disciples while still on earth (1 John 2:1). Therefore, it was necessary for Him to go away so that the comforter, that is the spirit of truth, could come and dwell with and bring comfort to Yah's people forever. [John 14:16].

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away:  or if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 16:7

The comforter, or the Spirit of truth, is the gift that Yah was destined to pass out among mankind in Psalm 68:18, and is the same gift Paul spoke of the believers receiving by measure in Ephesians 4:7. However, this gift is given out to mankind for the ultimate purpose, so that one day Yah our Elohym will dwell among mankind upon the earth. [Psalm 68:18].

4 - Yah is Yeshua

The Hebrew text of Psalms 118:14 is identical to that of Exodus 15:2:

Yah is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Psalms 118:14 KJV [See note #15]

Having this identical wording in an altogether different context should be cause for serious meditation and investigation. It stands as a fact that simply reading this book about the distinction of the short and long forms of the divine name, is not enough; rather, these verses should become the constant meditation and song of the righteous, so that Yah Yeshua can reveal unto them about His essence, and how that relates to their personal Salvation. Yah is become SALVATION [Y'shuah]. The Jewish religious leaders have rejected the simple fact that SALVATION [Y'shuah] in this context represents the man, Yeshua the Messiah. However, the mainstream Christian religious leaders have rejected any relevance to His divine name.  For this is the stone almost all of the religious leaders have rejected, as it is written:

The stone which the builders refused is become the headstone of the corner.

Psalm 118:22

The builders are the religious leaders! The revelation that the invisible Yah, the GREAT I AM, appeared in a bodily Temple called Yeshua is the stone which many religious leaders refuse and reject. But it is this stone that will fall and crush all those who reject IT and bring repentance to life to all those who fall upon IT, as it is written:

And whosoever shall fall upon this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Matthew 21:44 [compare Matthew 21:42-43]

Yah IS Yeshua! To deny His divine name, Yah, is to deny the very essence of life within HIM, with the possibility and hope, that His life-giving Spirit can be in the believer. To deny His human name, Yeshua, is to refuse the Salvation of Yah. Surely the Jewish leaders rejected His human name, Yeshua, and formed modern-day Judaism upon the principle that Yah could never come in an earthly body, but the bulk of the church, which sprang from Northern Israel [See note #16], do not realize who they are and miss the whole point when they read:

And he shall be for a Sanctuary; [and] for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel ...

Isaiah 8:14 [See note #6]

Subsequently, both the Jewish people and the church have stumbled over the STONE of Yeshua, the TEMPLE of Yah and have in some way taken offense towards HIS name and the divine revelation associated with IT.

Northern Israel, that is, the leaders of the church, who usurped their authority after the death of the apostles, are guilty of offense toward the "STONE" of Yah Yeshua in many ways. For they have rejected the Jewishness of their Messiah, which has led them to stumble over these issues:

His Hebrew / Jewish divine name Yah and יהוה

His Hebrew / Jewish human name, Yeshua, they have altered to "Jesus".

His Hebrew / Jewish Scriptures, the Torah [law, instruction]

His Hebrew / Jewish appointed times which are a shadow of the works of Yah Yeshua upon the earth. These have been exchanged for pagan feasts and pagan appointed times. [2 Kings 17:13-15, 26-29, 32-34; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1]

Sunday, the first day of the week, they have instituted in place of the seventh-day sabbath of Yeshua, which is Saturday, the seventh-day of the week. (Genesis 2:2-3; Exodus 20:10-11, 31:15-17; Matthew 12:8; and Hebrews 4:9 of the Greek or Aramaic Peshitta text [See note #14].)

They instituted Easter to replace what is considered the Hebrew / Jewish Passover and the days of unleavened bread. But, this is יהוה's Passover [Exodus 12:11-20; 1 Corinthians 5:7-8].

They instituted Christmas and did away with the so called Hebrew / Jewish feast of booths / tabernacles [Zechariah 14:16-18].

[The above three appointed times, as the word of Elohym states, are not Hebrew, Israelite, Jewish, nor Christian Feasts; they are the FEASTS OF יהוה. [Leviticus 23:2]

Indeed, the church has rejected almost everything Hebrew, that is Jewish, about their Messiah. For most of their teachers cannot even read Hebrew nor properly relate the original intent to their congregations. The Hebrew / Jewish divine name, as a result, is rejected. The name, Yah, the heavenly divine essence, who tabernacles [dwells] in Yeshua, is also rejected. Furthermore, they have dismissed the relevance of the divine name, Yah יהוה, which is the core revelation of the Hebrew scriptures. To reject His divine name as revealed through the Hebrew text is to reject HIM!

The key verse of Psalm 118 is:

Yah is my strength and song, and is become my salvation [Yeshua].

Psalms 118:14

This concept of Yah becoming one's personal deliverance and salvation is led up into from this context:

I called upon Yah in distress ...

Psalm 118:5 [See note #17]

Yah is the one who answers each individual who calls out to Him in distress and defends them against all their enemies. Whether the enemy is physical or spiritual, Yah answers. Yah does not answer in just any way, but rather in grand fashion as the psalmist points out:

… Yah answered me and set me in a large place.

Psalm 118:5 [See note #18]

Careful reading of this text in the Hebrew reveals that Yah answers His people in the wide-open space of Yah. Yah not only makes room for each individual believer, but He makes room for them to dwell with HIM in His space. Just as the groom makes room for the bride to dwell with him; likewise Yah makes room for each individual Israelite, whether of the natural or grafted in branches. He makes room for His bride to dwell with HIM in His wide-open space, for Yah Yeshua said:

In my Father's house are many mansions,... I go to prepare a place for you.

John 14:2

This idea of Yah facing His people in a large place with plenty of room is similar to the idea of salvation found in our key verses:

Yah is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.

Psalm 118:14

To be set free, is to be let go in a wide and open, i.e. unrestricted place. However, both of these are contrasted in the context by:

I called upon Yah in DISTRESS;...

Psalm 118:5

"Distress" is a restricted and closed-in space, or a narrow, straight path or alley.

After the psalmist declares that Yah will become my salvation [Yeshua] [verse 14], he goes on to explain the relationship between Yah, our salvation [Yeshua], and יהוה, the Father, for He continues:

The right hand of יהוה does valiantly.

Psalm 118:15, 16

For Yah is the right hand of יהוה, who works a valiant work in bringing about our salvation verses 14 & 15.

[Note: Remember that Moses also defined the relationship between Father and Son in similar language. (Exodus 15:2-6, 16)]

Then the psalmist declares his personal position in relation to the valiant works of Yah, who has become salvation, for it is written:

I will not die, rather, I will live and recount the works of Yah. Yah has greatly chastised me, but He has not given me over to death.

Psalm 118:17, 18

[Note: Hebrew context specifically refers to Yah in the verses, in contrast to יהוה.]

After mentioning his chastisement that brought him to the brink of death, the psalmist draws a detailed picture of drawing near unto יהוה, which set in order the plan of New Covenant Redemption and Salvation. However, most translators miss the whole point. We will continue by quoting the King James version:

Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go into them, and I will PRAISE THE LORD;

Psalm 118:19 KJV

The Hebrew word translated here as "Praise" is Yadah [See note #20].

This word can be translated as "confess", "thanks", or "praise". The goal of the translator is to give the appropriate English word that fits the overall context. In this context, the psalmist is severely chastised, even to the point of death.

Therefore, does the severe chastisement lead one to confession and repentance, or to thanksgiving and praise? The obvious answer is: ALL OF THE ABOVE! Yet, if only one meaning can be given in translation, we must use the word that begins the process, which is confession. So, we should understand the passage in this way:

Open to Me the gates of righteousness, I will enter in through them, confessing Yah.

Psalm 118:19, my translation

Perhaps the translator could not figure out what it is about Yah that one must confess. The answer to this question cannot be found in this verse. In fact, from this perspective, the verse seems incomplete.

Often times, in the Hebrew and Aramaic, a deep thought is conveyed with an incomplete thought. Perhaps, in order to cause the reader to think deeper on the subject. For an example of an incomplete thought, see "Mar-Yah is Yeshua". [See note #20.] The overall context will supply the word or thought needed to make sense of and understand the incomplete thought.  One must only look at the overall context.

In this context, Yah only severely chastises the psalmist after the rejoicing in the Tent of Righteousness, concerning the valiant works of Yah, which was that Yah will become Salvation [Y'shuah / Yeshua]. [See Psalm 118:14-18.] Therefore, this latter thought found in verse 14 has to be the answer to the incomplete thought of verse 19. Wherefore, verse 19 should be understood like this:

Open to me the gates of Righteousness, I will enter in through them, I will confess that Yah is my Salvation [Y'shuah / Yeshua].

Psalm 118:19, my translation

The idea is, therefore, foundational, the multi-faceted meaning associated with Yadah [See note #20], is not limited to just confession, thanksgiving, and praise. This Hebrew word must be understood from its very root in order to fully grasp its dual meaning in this context.

The Hebrew word, yadah, comes from its two-letter root, yad [יד], which means "hand". Normally, the "ah" or "heh" ending is for the feminine tense.  However, being a part of the three-letter root, "ah" is part of the Hebrew picture formed by the three letters [ידה]:

י = power, hand

ד = door as opening, revolving, extending

[The outstretched extended hand was the Hebrew picture of power.]

ה = both hands lifted up and extended towards heaven, as if waving the hand, saying, "Hey, behold me!"

However, it is also a picture of a window with air blowing through it. For this reason, it is the picture of the sky, clouds and all the surrounding air. Thus, it is the picture of those things above and unseen, like unto heaven.

Thus, first and foremost, yadah is a picture of a man stretching out his hand unto heaven and pointing out, one-by-one, each of the Creator's mighty attributes, then the hand is turned inward to point out each of one's shortcomings, faults, failures and sins in relation to the greatness of Elohym and our relationship to Him.

Now, let us place what we have learned in relation to this context, using the following:

Open to me the Gates of Righteousness, I will enter in through them, while confessing that Yah is my Salvation [Y'shuah / Yeshua] and confessing my sins unto Him, then giving Yah my confession, thanksgiving and praise.

Psalm 118:19

This complete understanding of yadah, in context reveals the dual-nature of the PLURAL "gates". To pass the first gate, one must recognize and confess that Yah is his own salvation [Yeshua].  To pass through the second gate, one must confess his own sins unto Yah. These plural gates of verse 19 are contrasting to the singular gate of verse 20, below:

This is the gateway unto יהוה; the Righteous enter in through IT.

Psalm 118:20, my translation

The only gate which leads unto יהוה is confessing that Yah is Yeshua and confessing one's sins unto Yah Yeshua. This is, therefore, the foundation of Yeshua's own words:

I am the Gate, and if a man should enter by Me, he will live and enter and go out, and he will find pasture.

John 10:9 Roth

Truly, this message is:

The stone, rejected by the builders, but, it has become the head cornerstone.

Psalm 118:22

5.a - Yah יהוה is Salvation

When a similar phrase is used in Scripture twice, it is worth notice.  However, when a phrase is written identically twice, and is altered only slightly the third time, these identical passages ought to be contrasted with the slightly altered passage. The following is a word-for-word translation of the similar parts of all three verses in the original word order:

My strength and song is Yah, and He will become my Salvation [Y'shuah, Yeshua]…

Exodus 15:2

My strength and song is Yah, and He will become my Salvation.

Psalm 118:14

… For my strength and song is Yah יהוה, and He will become my Salvation.

Isaiah 12:2

The first two contexts reveal how Yah will become salvation by dwelling in a human body, called Yeshuah. But, the third context is exploring the gift of Yah that was promised in Psalm 68:18:

You ascended on high; You led captivity captive; You gave gifts unto men, also to the rebellious, so that Yah Elohym will dwell (among them).

Psalm 68:18 [19]

[Compare to Ephesians 4:8.]

This gift is expounded on in the next verse:

With rejoicing you will draw water from the waters of the salvation [Y'shuah, Yeshua].

Isaiah 12:3

It has been demonstrated in the former context that the Hebrew word for salvation is a direct reference for Yeshua, the Messiah.  However, in the original Hebrew of Isaiah 12:3, the verb 'salvation' has the definite article, "the", attached to it [HaYeshuah], that is "The Salvation". This refers to a very specific place to come and draw forth water. Therefore, Yah יהוה is the Living Waters, and Yeshua is the place where all must come to draw out these waters.

There is another context which draws a clear picture between Yeshua, the Fountain, and יהוה, the Living Waters, which is as follows:

יהוה is the Hope of Israel. All who forsake You will be ashamed, and they who turn away from Me will be written in the earth, for they have forsaken the Fountain of Living Waters, even יהוה.

Jeremiah 17:13

[See note #22. Compare to John 8:6, and see note #21.]

יהוה is the "You" in the passage above, and Yeshua is the "Me", so by turning away from Yeshua, a soul is really forsaking יהוה, the Living Waters.

In the final line of the verse above, I translated the literal word order as much as possible to point out the phrase, "even יהוה", which is et יהוה.

In Hebrew, the eth is the direct object marker, which is pointing out יהוה as the direct object of the verse. The eth is made up of the Aleph and the Tav [את], which is the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. This is better known to most Christians as the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the Living Word.

Therefore, Yah is the Aleph and the Tav, who is pointing everyone to יהוה, the Living Waters. Yeshua, the Man, is the Fountain from which these Living Waters flow.

Yah, the Living Word of יהוה, points all souls unto יהוה.  The apostle John expounded on this relationship of the Father and Son in these verses below:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohym, and the Word was Elohym.

John 1:1

And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only One [the choice or chosen one], who is from the Father, who is full of grace and truth.

John 1:14

[See notes #24 and #23]

No man has ever seen Elohym, the only One [the chosen one] of Elohym, he who exists in the bosom of His Father, He has declared him.

John 1:18

[See notes #24 and #43]

5.b.1 - יהוה the Living Waters

Originally, I wrote this section for believers to be able to meditate upon the divine essence, so that they can contemplate deep mysteries.  It is included here to help the believer to see how יהוה describes Himself so that he can better come to know Him. These descriptions include seemingly physical or earthly places, from which are derived a picture of the divine essence. This divine essence is revealed to be far off from mankind, yet a detailed description is given of how יהוה plans to span this bridge, granting mankind access unto Himself. Because of the obscure and controversial nature of many verses covered herein, some contexts may not be agreeable to all the brothers. I hope that all can agree to these following concepts:

Sheol is a place for departed spirits.

Sheol has two compartments:

One holds all righteous spirits.

The other imprisons all unrighteous spirits.

At death…

The spirit is taken to Sheol with self-awareness and memory preserved.

The body is buried in the grave and knows nothing at all.

יהוה, the Father, is a River of Living Waters.

Yeshua, the Man, is the only source of Living Waters.

The people of Elohym reach these Living Waters in order to…

Be completely healed.

Bring in the end-time harvest of souls.

5.b.2 - יהוה is One

When studying about the divine essence of יהוה and the relationship between Father and Son, one ought to take the many verses which proclaim his oneness into close consideration and prayerful scrutiny. For, it is written:

Hear this, Israel, יהוה  our Elohym is one יהוה.

Deuteronomy 6:4

Is is really impossible to discern what the "one" in this context really means? Does it mean:

Three Elohym holding hands in agreement?

Two Elohym holding hands in agreement?

Three persons in a compound unity of one El?

Two persons in a compound unity of one El?

One El, period, with no division of persons within Him?

[Note: Some claim that Deuteronomy 6:4 has nothing to do with the number of persons within יהוה, but rather that no other compound unities exist. We will look at this claim to see if it matches the rest of Scripture.]

Scripture declares that there is no other El dwelling beside יהוה:

… for יהוה is Elohym; there is none beside Him.

Deuteronomy 4:35

[There is no more by His side.]

The Hebrew word for "beside" is milbad, which is a compound word that breaks down like this:

Bad – separation (from other parts); thus "part"

L'bad – alone (to its parts), in its separation

Milbad – apart from; thus "beside"

The Hebrew phrase for "none" ["no more"] is eyn owd:

Eyn – no, not, none

Owd – repetition; thus 'more'

Thus, יהוה alone is Elohym, and there is no other El who stands next to Him.

Again, it is written:

For I am Elohym, and there is no other [eyn owd].

I am Elohym, and there is none like Me.

Isaiah 46:9

For יהוה, He is Elohym in heaven above and upon the earth beneath, [there is] no more [eyn owd].

Deuteronomy 4:39

There is no other El anywhere besides יהוה; there exist no other Elohym.

Again, it is written:

To cause them to know, from the rising of the sun unto its going down, that there is none besides Me [no, none added, no repetition, not another]. I am יהוה, and there is not other [eyn owd].

Isaiah 45:6

In this context, the Hebrew word for "besides" is the compound word, biladay [#1107]:

Bal – #1077 – none, nothing, not

Ad – #5749 uwd #5750 owd – repetition, repeating, going over again, added, additional

In this context, the idea of repetition, or additional, cannot be taken any other way except "of persons", that is "there is none, not any other," that is, "no more." When the additional negation is added in context, this becomes, "No, there is not any other," or "no, not another," or "No, none other than Me!"

Again, it is written:

Surely I am יהוה, and there is no Savior besides Me.

Isaiah 43:11

Thus says יהוה, King of Israel, and their Redeemer, יהוה of Hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and besides Me, there is no Elohym.

Isaiah 44:6

In these verses, the word, "besides", is translated from the Hebrew word, mibaladay, which has the mi [מ] attached to baladay, which is also translated as "besides", in Isaiah 45:6. Thus, the entire word must be looked at again, in order to see the slight variation in meaning intended in the original:

Mi – from (apart from), near, out of, above

Bal – not, none, no

Ad – going over again, repetition, more, added, additional

Ay – me

Therefore, we should also understand it this way:

There is no Savior apart from, or in addition to, Me.

There is no Savior near Me or in addition to Me.

There is no El above Me or in addition to Me.

Apart from Me and in addition to Me, there is no El.

There is no Savior or El, which is apart from יהוה, not in addition to Him.

Again, it is written:

I am יהוה, and there is no other [eyn owd]; beside Me, there is no Elohym …

Isaiah 45:5

The Hebrew word for "beside" is zuwl [#2108], which springs from the idea of pouring out contents and removing all or part of the contents into another place, that is, next to or beside.

From this context, it becomes obvious that יהוה has not ever poured out a portion of Himself to make another El to stand next to Him or to be in agreement with Him. In fact, it becomes apparent, through close examination, that יהוה has never in the past, and will never in the future, divide Himself up into separate persons.

Again, it is written:

Declare, and bring them near, and let them take counsel together. Who caused this to be heard from ancient time, declared it from that time. Have not I, יהוה?

And there is no other [eyn owd] El besides Me [mibaladay].

A righteous El and a Savior, there is none besides Me [zuwl].

Isaiah 45:21

This verse defines the oneness from several different angles:

There is no other El or Savior apart from יהוה or in addition to יהוה.

No other El or Savior has ever been poured forth from יהוה to stand next to יהוה as a separate person.

Why is this subject so important? Because, it is written:

I am יהוה; that is My name, and I will not give My glory to another.

Isaiah 42:8

Therefore, if a believer thinks "one" means two or three persons in agreement, then this belief system is, by its very nature, giving the glory of יהוה to another, even if this system of belief sees three persons within יהוה. Because, יהוה, our El, is a jealous El, and His jealousy rages as a consuming fire. [See Deuteronomy 4:24 and Hebrews 12:29.]

When one looks at the word used for "beside" and "besides" יהוה in their simplest forms in context, it becomes obvious that when יהוה says that HE IS ONE יהוה, He means just that. Then as one delves deeper into the picture drawn from these words, used in contrast with one another, as in Isaiah 45:21, then one wonders how someone could ever come to the conclusion that יהוה is a compound unity or a trinity or a twinity. Yet many brothers hold to these teachings.

Consider this: if יהוה is meaning to reveal that He is truly ONE El, with no division of individual persons within Him, exactly what Hebrew words were available for Him to make this any more clear than those already used here?

There is a relentless attack on the Hebrew word for "one", as used in Deuteronomy 6:4:

Listen Israel, יהוה your Elohym, יהוה is one.

Deauteronomy 6:4

The Hebrew word for "one" is echad [#258 and #259]. The Hebrews reached the idea and concept of "one" from the similar thought of "to unite, to join one's self together, to collect one's self" [Gesenius: see echad.] Yet echad does take on the numerical power of an adjective, "one". It also means "the same". It is used to convey the idea of "one of a kind", as in:

But He is one [mind], and who can turn Him…

Job 23:13

… behold an evil, and only evil has come.

Ezekiel 7:5

My perfect beloved, she is one, one she is of her mother [the only one]. She is the chosen [one] unto her that bore her.

Song of Solomon 6:9

The fact remains that the Hebrews did not have a more specific word to use in order to convey the idea of יהוה's oneness. Some who try to bolster their teaching of the trinity make the absurd claim that yachad (#3162 Strong's) would have been used if "one" had been the intended meaning of Deuteronomy 6:4. A believer only has to look up this word in the Strong's Hebrew lexicon or the Gesenius Hebrew lexicon in order to realize how wrong this claim is.

Yachad [#3160]:

to be joined, united together

to join oneself

Yachad [#3162]:

union, junction

together in one place

While yachad always takes the meaning as listed above, the word, echad [#259] is used thus:

First

Someone (an individual)

A certain [person] (an individual)

One only of its kind

One time (once)

The same

The only question which remains is, why would an otherwise honest teacher be so intent on proving his point, that he was willing to tell such a blatant lie? And, the point could be easily refuted by comparing echad and yachad in a Hebrew dictionary or lexicon.

Therefore, considering the limits of the Hebrew language, a more specific word for "one" cannot be found that would better express one יהוה with no division within Him, that would amount to a separate person or persons. Then, when this "one" [echad] is compared to the verses which explain and limit our understanding of "one" in context, a believer can rest confident that "one" means "one", we need no further explanation.

Now, let us examine and reconsider how יהוה, through Isaiah, has defined His oneness:

And there is no other [eyn owd] El besides Me [apart from me or in addition to Me (mibaladay)],

A righteous El and a Savior; there is none beside Me [poured out from Me to stand as a separate person next to Me].

Isaiah 45:21

5.b.3 - יהוה's Living Waters Removed

Now that we have established that "one" really does mean ONE and that יהוה, our Elohym, is only one יהוה, we can continue on to look at the picture that יהוה draws through His word of His divine essence and how that relates to the Father and Son relationship.

Consider the picture provided by the following context. Some believe that it speaks only of Elohym dividing the oceans from the skies, yet this literal interpretation brings forth more questions than answers. Yet, even if this context was fulfilled in the literal, exclusively, earthly sense, it also has a spiritual application. It is important to always think on both the literal and spiritual application of all contexts.

And Elohym said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And Elohym made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

And Elohym called the firmament heaven…

Genesis 1:6-8a KJV

What kind of waters abide in and above heaven? The answer is clear: Spiritual Waters! For us to understand what is happening here, we must understand the nature of the divine essence of יהוה, as it is written:

יהוה, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be ashamed, and those who turn away from me will be written in the earth. For they have forsaken יהוה, the Fountain of Living Waters.

Jeremiah 17:13

Once a believer can conceptualize יהוה as a River of Living Waters, then he can see that in the beginning of the earth"s history, as mankind knows it, the spiritual waters were separated from the physical earthly waters. Heaven was placed between the spiritual waters and the physical waters.

There are those who would say that heaven [shamayim] is really just the sun, moon and stars, which are spread out as if in a firmament. However, the Word of Elohym confirms that these are different things altogether, as it is written:

Praise Yah; praise יהוה from heaven.

Praise Him in the high places.

Praise Him, and His angels.

Praise Him, all His hosts.

Praise Him, sun and moon.

Praise Him, all the bright stars.

Praise Him, heaven of heavens and the WATERS which are above the heavens.

Psalm 148:1-4

יהוה separated His spiritual waters from the earthly waters. As a consequence of this, the spiritual waters could no longer bring praise to His name on earth, because the spiritual waters were removed from the earth.

NOTE: The Hebrew word for "create" is bara [#1254], and the definition of this word includes the idea of separating, and יהוה separated His spiritual waters from earth's physical waters.

Now, יהוה is omnipresent, and He continues to abide upon the earth in the form of His Holy Spirit. Yet, יהוה had removed the concentrated form of His presence, His Living Waters, from the face of the earth. If this situation had been allowed to go unchanged, then mankind would not ever have had access unto יהוה's Living Waters. Yet, יהוה had a plan whereby mankind could partake of His Living Waters. For, the original Garden of Eden was a pleasant place of delight [#5730 & #5731]. However, the context reveals that it is a well-watered garden, for it is written:

And a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

Genesis 2:10 KJV

The name of the First is Pison:…

Genesis 2:13

And the name of the second river is Gihon:…

Genesis 2:13 KJV

And the name of the third river is Hiddekel…

Genesis 2:14 KJV

And the fourth river is Euphrates.

Genesis 2:14 KJV

These rivers could actually be literal rivers, because the locations of three of them are known:

Pison – Perhaps a river that once went from Europe down into northern Africa (before the Mediterranean formed). However, some say it may be a river in India.

Gihon – The Nile River in Africa.

Hiddekel – The Tigris River.

P'rath – The Euphrates River.

While three of these rivers are literal, and one day mankind may discover the location of the first one, a soul should seriously consider the implication of these words:

And a river WENT OUT OF EDEN to water the garden …

Genesis 2:10 KJV (emphasis mine)

Eden was the source of the water, which broke off in four directions to water the earth. Yet, there is no singular source which feeds all four rivers today.

For these reasons, believers should reconsider Eden in a spiritual light.

We have seen that Eden feeds the four rivers which water the earth, but where does the water come from? Remember, the spiritual waters are above heaven.

The following context reveals a Temple, which has water flowing under it. This Temple may be a literal earthly Temple, yet the earthly Temple is a type of the heavenly Temple. Therefore, this spiritual picture is solid.

Afterward, he brought me again unto the door of the house, and behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the fore front of the house stood toward the east, and the WATERS came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

Ezekiel 47:1 KJV (emphasis mine)

The Living Waters flow out from the Temple and descend to a place which is beneath the Temple, perhaps even under the altar in the Temple.  This place, which is under the altar of the Temple, was known anciently as Eden. Then, from Eden the water flows forth unto the earth, breaking off in four directions, in order to make these Living Waters available unto all. Once mankind has had access unto these Living Waters, the rivers return unto a place called simply "the sea."

Then said he unto me: These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the SEA: which, being brought forth into the sea, the WATERS SHALL BE HEALED.

Ezekiel 47:8 KJV (emphasis mine)

What is this spiritual sea? We will discover that this sea is known by many names or descriptive titles in Scripture. One of those names is Eden! For the waters descend down from the heavenly Temple, unto Eden, then from Eden unto the earth, then from the earth back into Eden, and from there they return back into heaven. Thus, the Living Waters must make a complete circuit in order to be healed.

Yeshua makes reference to Eden by a title which draws a descriptive picture of the sea of Eden.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried.

And in hell [sheol] he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his BOSOM. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip of his finger in WATER, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame.

Luke 16:22-24 KJV (emphasis mine)

Two places are referred to in this context:

Sheol ["hell", in context]

Abraham's bosom

There is a gulf placed between this place called sheol and Abraham's bosom so that the inhabitants of both cannot go into the other chamber. (Compare to Luke 16:26.)

Did Lazarus actually sit in Abraham's lap [bosom], or does the word, "bosom", describe this well-watered place of delight? To understand the answer to this question, it is necessary to look at this word, "bosom", in its full meaning and the Hebrew picture, which can be seen through the letters:

Chab and chabab [See note #26] – to hide in the bosom, to love and cherish. The picture formed by these letters is of the chest cavity rising and falling as the lungs inhale and exhale.

Tzalach'ta [See note #28]. This is like unto a shallow stream which can be easily crossed over, a stream through which one can wade and suggests constantly running water. Of course, running water suggests an inlet and an outlet. Through the idea of shallow, running water comes the idea of the air in the lungs, pouring forth as one exhales and returning as one inhales. From this idea, the ancient Hebrews understood that the bosom is as the lung cavity, inhaling and exhaling.

Kalpos [See note #29], the idea of bosom in Greek is by analogy, a bay, a cove of water, flowing into it and out of it. This causes this word to be very similar to tzalach'ta in number two above. This is the word used for bosom in the Greek New Testament.

Uwba [See note #30], "Bosom"; this word comes from the Hebrew root word, which means to hide oneself in the thick darkness of a heavy, dark rain cloud.

From all these examples, the picture emerges of a cavity, which has water or air constantly being renewed within it. One can picture the cavity rising and falling as the cavity inhales and exhales this water or air.

Therefore, we can easily determine that Lazarus was not sitting in Abraham's lap, nor was he standing constantly in his embrace; rather, Lazarus was dwelling with all the righteous departed spirits in a place which is literally flooded with the life-giving waters of יהוה. Therefore, this place is known as Abraham's Bosom, Eden, and "the Sea". For, it is this well-watered place of delight, which supplies the four rivers, which bring the Living Waters to the earth.

Remember that these waters originate from the Temple and the heavenly Temple is a type of Yeshua, which means that these heavenly waters flow forth from Yeshua, the man. From Yeshua, the waters flow under the Temple, even under the altar, to a place identified as Eden, "the Sea", and Abraham's Bosom. From there, the Living Waters flow to the four corners of the earth, then the waters must return back unto Eden in order to be cleansed, due to its contact with the uncleanness of mankind.

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country and go down into the desert and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the WATERS SHALL BE HEALED.

Ezekiel 47:8 KJV [Emphasis mine]

Now that we understand that Lazarus was being comforted by the continually renewing and flowing Living Waters of יהוה, we can move on to explore the holding place of torment, in which the rich man found himself. The place of torment was called Sheol, but there are things about Sheol that the believer ought to know.

5.b.4 - Sheol

The Hebrew word, Sheol [#7585], is commonly derived from the idea of asking; from its asking for, demanding all, without distinction [Gesenius]. In a way, the idea of enlarging [expanding], in order to make room for all those who will one day enter into it, is like unto asking and then demanding all to enter. It is written:

Therefore hell [Sheol] hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure ...

Isaiah 5:14 KJV

However, Sheol [with an Aleph, #7585] obtains its root meaning from sh'owl [with an Ayin, #8168 & unused root], which means hollowness. From this idea follows hollow things, such as things burrowed out, like caverns, underground holes, and subterranean places.

Surely, the rich man was among other unjust, departed spirits, who were, and still are, bound in this subterranean prison. However, Lazarus was also in a hiding place for all the righteous departed spirits, and we have learned that Abraham's Bosom is also called Eden. What is not commonly taught is that Eden and Abraham's Bosom were simply called Sheol in ancient times. For, Sheol is a hiding place for all departed spirits, the just and the unjust. For, the common relationship between an underground cavern and a cavity [such as a chest cavity] is the idea of hollow places, which is the root of Sheol. For, it is the enlarged, hollow place, which, by making extra room, is calling all departed spirits into it. Thus, we have two distinct places called by the same name:

Abraham's Bosom: a hollow cavity, which is always refreshed and renewed by the inhaling and exhaling of the Living Waters of יהוה to comfort the just, departed spirits, also known as the good side of Sheol.

Hell: the bad side of Sheol; a hollow, subterranean holding place of torment, which is calling all unjust departed spirits into it.

Yah Yeshua revealed that a gulf was placed between the good and bad sides of Sheol. This gulf restricted and movement of all between both sides of Sheol.

The Patriarch, Jacob, knew about both sides of Sheol, because, when he thought his son, Joseph, had died, he knew that Joseph's spirit would be awaiting his arrival in the good side of Sheol. Therefore, Jacob meant to meet his son Joseph in the good side of Sheol. We can rest sure of this, because the patriarch was not bound for "Hell", that is the bad side of Sheol, and in the grave, there is no awareness of anything, not even of self.

And he [Jacob] said, for I will descend to my son, mourning, to Sheol.

Genesis 37:35, my translation

What the Patriarch is saying in plain English is: "... For I will descend to my son in Sheol, (through) mourning." It was clearly Jacob's intent on meeting his son, Joseph, in Sheol, by mourning himself to death. This reveals that Jacob knew that יהוה had a good place of Sabbath delight prepared for the righteous departed spirits in the good side of Sheol.

The prophet, Jonah, began to pray and cry out to יהוה from the belly of the fish, as it is written concerning him:

Then Jonah prayed unto יהוה his Elohym out of the fish's belly ...

Jonah 2:1

Then Jonah died in the belly of the fish and his spirit continued to pray unto יהוה his Elohym in Sheol.

... out of the belly  of  hell [Sheol], cried I, and thou heardest my voice.

Jonah 2:3

Jonah was a type of Yeshua, the Messiah, in that his body stayed buried in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights, just as his spirit dwelled in Sheol for three days and three nights [Jonah 1:17; Matthew 12:40, 27:63; John 2:19-20; Luke 11:29]. Likewise, the body of Yeshua laid lifeless in the tomb for three days and three nights, while the spirit of Yah preached to the spirits in Sheol for three days and three nights. [See 1 Peter 3:18-19.]

A close look at The Hebrew of Job's description of Sheol will show clearly the two sides of Sheol, which Yeshua expands in the description of Lazarus and the rich man.

The departed spirits are caused to be in great pain and agony, in a place that is under the waters, and its inhabitants.

Job 26:5, my translation [See note #32.]

If it is not already plain enough exactly what place Job is referring to, in the next verse it is spelled out for us:

SHEOL is naked before HIM, and there is no covering for the place of destruction.

Job 25:6, my translation

In verse 6, this evil place of torment is plainly called Sheol. But, also notice that the bad side of Sheol is "UNDER THE WATERS", that is, beneath a place known of as Eden or Paradise, or Abraham's bosom, and those dwelling beneath the waters are writhing in pain and agony. The word, "inhabitants", reveals that the waters are also a place filled with inhabitants, that is the departed spirits of the righteous, who are awaiting the resurrection of their physical bodies. Yeshua explains that Lazarus is dwelling in the midst of these LIVING WATERS in the good side of Sheol / Eden / Paradise / Abraham's bosom, and is being comforted. Every righteous soul who enters into the LIVING WATERS of יהוה, and dwells there, is living in a place of happiness and delight, which is the definition of Eden and Paradise but is here referred to as simply "the waters".

Yeshua spoke, being by the thief on another cross, on the day of his crucifixion, as it is written:

And Yeshua said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Luke 23:43 [See note #33.]

It is revealed clearly in the Scriptures how Yeshua went to preach to the spirits in prison, then it reveals how this prison is Sheol:

For the Messiah also died one time, on behalf of your sins, the righteous on behalf of sinners, that he might bring you near to Elohym. And he died in the body, but lived in the spirit. And he preached to those souls who were bound in Sheol.

1 Peter 3:18-19, my translation

The body of Yeshua died while HIS SPIRIT, even Yah, remained alive in Sheol, while HE preached to the spirits imprisoned there. Then, after three days and three nights, Yah came up out of Sheol with the keys of death and hell. Yah then took back his physical body from the tomb, transforming it into a glorified body in the process. Then, Yah empowered others to also take back their physical bodies as it is written:

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept, arose. And came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Matthew 27:52-53

During sleep, the body lays still as in the grave, while the mind and spirit continue to think, dream, and keep a mental awareness of self. The Scripture confirms that this mental awareness of self continues after death in a place called Sheol. Therefore, the carnal mind knows nothing at all as it lays dead in the grave, while the spiritual mind continues in a state of self-awareness and the awareness of others in Sheol.

We have seen how Job describes those suffering in the bad side of Sheol, beneath the waters of Paradise (the good side of Sheol) and how Lazarus is in Abraham's bosom, which is figurative of a large body of water, which is constantly renewed by flowing in and out of Paradise. Then we have also seen how Yeshua intended to meet the thief on the cross in Paradise / Eden on the day of crucifixion, which is also a well-watered garden of delight. So, while the bad side of Sheol is being described as a place of suffering and flames, the good side of Sheol is shown to be a place of restful delight, which is well-watered by the SPIRIT [LIVING WATERS] of יהוה.

Wherefore, with this solid foundation laid, one can easily understand what the "SEA" refers to in Revelation:

And the SEA gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire ...

Revelation 20:13-14 (emphasis mine)

Carefully take notice that no one in "THE SEA" was cast into the lake of fire. If this verse had been referring to the literal sea, then surely somebody who had been buried therein, would have been lost and bound for the lake of fire. Yet no one in the SPIRITUAL SEA of יהוה's presence was lost. For they were the departed spirits of righteous mankind who were awaiting the final resurrection. This is the day when their dead bodies will be resurrected out of their earthly graves, to be reunited with their spirits. The Scripture speaks of three places, which were holding the dead:

The Sea - This is the good side of Sheol

Death - This is the physical grave, where the body is buried.

Hell [Sheol] - This speaks of the bad side of Sheol, because the contrast in this context of "THE SEA" limits Sheol.

The righteous spirits in the Sea [the good side of Sheol] will be united with their earthly, physical bodies to live forever before Yeshua their King. Likewise the unrighteous spirits in the bad side of Sheol will also be united with their earthly bodies, just to be thrown both body and spirit into the lake of fire [Revelation 20:14]. When these things occur, there will be no more need for a holding place for righteous departed spirits in the good side of Sheol, which is why it is written:

… [A]nd there was no more sea.

Revelation 21:1

This concept of our bodies being just temporary dwelling places (booths, tabernacles, tents, huts, & houses) is clearly taught throughout scripture. The apostle, Paul, explains the happy fate of those who die in Yah Yeshua before the resurrection. For, they must appear before יהוה naked, that is without a body, in spirit only. Just as the real Job was "spirit" and his spirit was clothed with skin and flesh and fenced in with bones and sinews:

Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews. Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

Job 10:11-12 (emphasis mine)

This context reveals that Job's body, which is severely afflicted, is simply what clothed the spirit of Job for his spirit is enclosed with a body. But while his body is in torment, his spirit is enclosed by it and is preserved by  the visitation of the Almighty. Those who realize that their created spirit is clothed with a body have no difficulty understanding Paul's words:

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle [temporary dwelling place] were dissolved, we have a building of Elohym, an house not made with hands eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle [temporary dwelling place] do groan, being burdened: not that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon ; that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is Elohym, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. (For we walk by faith, not by sight.) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:1-8 [brackets mine, for clarification]

The Scriptures makes it plain that the body is the clothing of the created spirit of man. And on account of these witnesses, all believers can also be confident that while they remain in their earthly bodies, they are also absent from the Lord. However, their created spirit will stand before יהוה naked (without a body) in paradise, while they await the resurrection of their physical bodies, that is the unification of their resurrected bodies with their spirits.

Indeed the human spirit must return unto Elohym who created it [Ecclesiastes 12:7]. And this earthly tabernacle [hut, tent] must return unto the dust from which it came. But יהוה will reunite the dust with the spirit as he resurrects the dust from the grave, forming a glorified body, in which will dwell the created spirit.

5.b.5 - The Spirit of Yah Dwells within Yeshua, the Man

The apostle, John, makes an impossible, even shocking, statement when he says, "And the word was made flesh ...", because it is impossible for Divinity to ever become humanity! However, John expounds on this statement with the phrase, "... and tabernacled among us …" [John 1:14], so that the believer can understand in what way the Word became flesh, that is, HE was clothed in flesh, housed in an earthly tabernacle. The Greek text makes this clear with the word skenoo [See note #34.], which means "a tent", as if to occupy a house. A comparison of the Aramaic word used in this verse for "dwell" / "tabernacle", with an equivalent Hebrew word, will bring out this picture even more forcefully. This Aramaic word is ganan [See note #35.], which means "To fence in, to enclose, to cover over". This is almost identical to the meaning of the Hebrew word sakak [See note #6], which is used in the following context:

Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced [sakak] me with bones and sinews.

Job 10:11

The real essence of Job is clothed with skin and flesh and is enclosed with bones and sinews! But WHO is the real Job? The real Job is the created spirit of יהוה breathed into him. For it is written:

... יהוה … formeth the spirit of man within him.

Zechariah 12:1 [See note #37.]

The real Job is not skin and flesh, nor bones and sinews but is, rather, a created spirit. This created spirit is housed in a mortal body to become a complete person, as it is written:

And יהוה Elohym formed of the dust of the ground [a body], and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life [a created spirit]; and man became a living soul [a complete being / person].

Genesis 2:7 [See note #37.]

Man is a two-fold being of a mortal body and a created spirit, the combination of which makes up a living soul, a complete person. Man does not possess a soul, man IS a soul! Job also confirms which aspect of the soul is the real essence of Job, which is enclosed with a mortal body, as he continues:

Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my Spirit.

Job 10:12

In this context, the SPIRIT OF יהוה visits Job, which causes Job's created spirit to be refreshed and preserved. This communion has given vitality to the created spirit of Job, which is still housed in a body which is severely afflicted.

Once a believer realizes that he is a two-fold being of "body" and "spirit" and that his soul is merely the combination of these two aspects, then it is much easier to see how the divine essence of Yah also dwells in a mortal body. And this is the same way ganan is being used in the Aramaic of John 1:14, revealing that the Word, even Yah, is enclosed with a mortal body, as  it is written:

And the Word became flesh and was housed in a mortal body among us...

John 1:14 correctly understood [See note #38.]

Subsequently, Yah never became flesh, rather HE was enclosed by flesh, Yah put on flesh, as a garment or as a covering. In the original Aramaic of the book of Hebrews, this idea is also put forward, with great clarity:

Likewise, when he [Yah] was CLOTHED IN FLESH, he offered fervent prayers and pleadings with intense anxious tears, to him who was able to revive him from death; and he was heard.

Hebrews 5:7 Roth [brackets and emphasis mine]

Because of this, when entering the world HE [Yah] said, you have found no pleasure in sacrifices and offerings, so with a body you have clothed me.

Hebrews 10:5, my translation

Yah, the Word of יהוה, was clothed with a body, Yah was clothed in flesh. Yah never became humanity, rather HE was enclosed by it. Therefore, Yah is the right hand of יהוה, who was clothed by a mortal body, confined within skin and flesh, bones and sinews.

5.b.6 - The Oneness of the Father and His Son

In order to fully understand about the name of the HOLY SPIRIT, believers need to see the ONENESS between the Father and Son; and not just the distinction. Some foundational verses which reveal the name of the Father and of the Son and of the HOLY SPIRIT are as follows:

Do ye thus requite יהוה...? is not HE thy Father that hath bought thee? Hath He not made thee, and established thee?

Deuteronomy 32:6, emphasis mine

[See note #39.]

It is an indisputable fact that יהוה is our heavenly Father and Creator. Now that we know the name of the Father, we can seek after the name of the Son:

Yah is my strength and song and is become my salvation [Yeshua].

Psalms 118:14 (compare to Exodus 15:2 [See note #40])

The name of יהוה, our heavenly Father, is used to describe every attribute of Elohym. However, the name of Yah is used almost exclusively in relation to salvation [Yeshua]. However, in the Hebrew scriptures only the name of Yah was clearly identified as a name [Psalm 68:4], for the name of Yeshua was not yet revealed. Therefore, from the perspective of someone reading the Hebrew scriptures, the name of the Son is revealed to be Yah.

It has to be the names of the Father and the Son that the writer of this proverb had in mind:

Who hath ascended up into heaven or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? WHAT IS HIS NAME, AND WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME, If thou canst tell?

Proverbs 30:4

This latter phrase, "If thou canst tell?" (from the King James Version), is questionable as it reads here. The Hebrew phrase is "Kiy Teda" [See note #41.], which, if translated in its simplest form, would be "FOR YOU KNOW." However, the J.P. Green Interlinear renders it, "SURELY YOU KNOW." Thus, those who spoke and read Hebrew fluently in ancient times were able to discern the name of the Father and the Son from the Hebrew Scriptures. Please keep in mind that the name of Yeshua was not yet revealed as a name when this proverb was written, and the phrase demands, of those who could read Hebrew fluently in ancient times, that they should be able to discern the name of the Father and the Son from the ancient Hebrew text. And, this is the same Hebrew text from which our Old Testament English translation has been translated.

The name of the Holy Spirit is also revealed in the Hebrew Scriptures. But, in order to see the connection, one must first see the distinction between Yah, the Son, and יהוה, the Father. Then, one must understand that the waters of salvation are the Holy Spirit. For it is written:

... For YAH יהוה is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation [Yeshua]. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of Salvation.

Isaiah 12:2-3

It is Yah, the Son, and יהוה, the Father, who, together, give unto His people these Living Waters. Indeed it is a mystery of how the believer receives these LIVING WATERS from YAH יהוה. But, to completely understand the revealed revelation of that mystery, one must first unlock the mystery of the distinction and oneness of the Father and the Son.

Even before the death, burial and resurrection of Yeshua, the man, Yeshua revealed that whoever looks upon HIM also looks upon the Father, as it is written:

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Yeshua saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake.

John 14:8-11 [See note #45.]

[See note #40 to see how the Son is also the "everlasting Father".]

יהוה, our heavenly Father, continued to dwell with His Son, Yah Yeshua, even while Yah remained upon the earth. יהוה, our heavenly Father, never left His Son alone, but rather, He worked through His Son to perform great works. This is why it is written:

The sheep, which belong to me, hear my voice, and I know them, and they come after me. And I give unto them everlasting life; they will abide forever, and will never perish, and no man will pluck them from my hand. My Father, who gave them to me is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them from my Father's hand. I and my Father, ONE WE ARE.

John 10:27-30, my translation

[See note #42.]

Yah is the right hand of יהוה and, for this reason, never operates independently from יהוה. Just like my own right hand never moves about on its own, but rather, it is directed by my mind [will] to always move in conjunction with the entire body for the benefit of the entire body. In fact, the hand will even sacrifice itself in order to protect or fulfill the will of the whole body. Likewise, the hand never seeks to do its own will but always moves about in order to benefit the entire body. For these reasons, all should understand that Yah, the Son and right hand of יהוה, never sought to do His own will but always fulfilled the will of יהוה, His heavenly Father, as it is written:

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 6:38 KJV

[That is, ".., but that I may do the will of HIM who sent me."]

He that speaketh of himself [of his own mind] seeketh his own glory; but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

John 7:18

Yah and יהוה are ONE, because יהוה has never left Yah alone:

And HE that sent me is with me, and my Father does not leave me alone, because I do the things that please HIM at all times.

John 8:29 [Verse 18] my translation

The ONENESS of יהוה, the Father, and Yah, the Son, remains a mystery in the eyes of many believers. Yet, this mystery is expounded in many ways throughout the Scriptures. One of these mysteries is how was Yah, the Son, ONE with יהוה, His Father, as long as the Son dwelled on the earth and the Father was in heaven. Here is a clue that should help solve this mystery:

No man has ever seen Elohym, the ONLY ONE [the unique / chosen ONE] of Elohym. HE who exists [dwells] in the bosom of HIS Father, HE has declared HIM.

John 1:18 [See note #43.]

We have already discussed the word,"bosom", in detail on pages 21 - 22. [See notes #25 - #30.]

We discussed the story of Lazarus and the rich man, a story in which it is admitted that Lazarus could literally be, or have been, in the literal bosom of Abraham, but even so, the rich meaning associated with the word, "bosom", still seems to draw a picture of a holding place of departed spirits being refreshed by the continual renewing of the breath and Living Waters of יהוה.

However, in reference to the Son of יהוה, even Yah, the word and right hand of יהוה, it becomes obvious that a literal interpretation is impossible, so one must look to the figurative and the analogy. "Bosom" is figurative for the renewal of breath in the chest cavity, the inlet (inhaling) and the outlet (exhaling). The Greek word for "bosom" is, by analogy, a cove of water, a bay [ See note #29.], and this agrees with the hebrew word, tzalachat [ See note #28.], which is a picture of a river or stream of water through which one must cross or push himself through with great effort.

This is the idea put forth by the prophet Ezekiel, in which it is revealed that the Living Waters flow from under the south side of the altar, then we have learned that these waters flow into a place called Paradise (Abraham's bosom, Eden, "the Sea", and simply "the waters") [Ezekiel 47:1]. Then we found that this is the holding place of the righteous departed spirits. If one is willing to accept that the Rivers of Eden reveal the earthly circuit of these Living Waters during the days of Adam, then one can begin to see how these waters ran in circuit to the earth, and then back into Paradise, then back into heaven, from where the waters came.

For the places where there was no flowing of water could not be healed and were given to salt [Ezekiel 47:11].

However, the heavenly Living Waters were cut off from the earth, and only the Holy Spirit remained. [That is, the thick concentration of יהוה's presence departed from the earth, leaving behind, only HIS HOLY SPIRIT]. Here is a description in Ezekiel, which reveals how יהוה plans to bring these Living Waters unto the earth and reveal them to one man at a time:

And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me THROUGH the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

Again he measured a thousand, and brought me THROUGH the waters; the waters were to the knees.

Again he measured a thousand, and brought me THROUGH; the waters were to the loins.

Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a RIVER that I could not pass over; for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

Ezekiel 47:3-5

As long as the waters were only to the ankles, knees, and loins, the river could still be forded [crossed], as in the word tzalachat ["bosom"] [ See note #28]. Here, the Living Waters of יהוה's presence have gotten so thick and deep that no man could possibly cross them. ["...it was a river that I could not pass over;..."]. However, Yeshua is able to cross this river, which is why it is written:

The only ONE [only begotten] of Elohym, He who dwells in the bosom of His Father,..

John 1:18

The Aramaic word for "bosom" is also a witness for the thick waters of יהוה's presence, referring them to "Thick clouds of darkness", [See note #30.], that is, clouds which are so saturated by water that they have become dark clouds.

These ideas also find support in another context:

And no man has ascended unto heaven, but HE that descended from heaven, [even] the Son of man who dwells [exists, is] in heaven.

John 3:13 [See note #44.]

Knowing that the Living Waters of יהוה are in and above heaven helps us to understand that, through Yeshua, these Living Waters have been again restored to the earth. Because, even while Yeshua was speaking on the earth, HE still remained in heaven, in the thick darkness of the presence of יהוה, a darkness which hid the identity of Yeshua from those who did not believe and revealed the light to those who did believe. Of course, this is another meaning associated with the word, "bosom", in the Aramaic, "to be hid in the thick darkness, as of a dark cloud which covers and hides or obscures". [See note #30.]

Some believed, after Yeshua revealed himself to the Samaritan woman at the well, [John 4:10, 14], but others could not see. Likewise, some believed, as Yeshua revealed that HE was the SOURCE of Living Waters in John 7:38-39, but most still sat in darkness, for the true identity of Yeshua was hidden from their eyes.

Likewise, even today, as in this book, some will believe that Yah is the Word of יהוה and the right hand of יהוה and that Yah was clothed in a mortal body, called Yeshua. But, others will reject any distinction at all between Yah and יהוה and will still fail to understand completely who Yeshua really is. Therefore, Yah is still hidden in the thick darkness; Yah still dwells in the bosom of יהוה; and Yah remains hidden before the eyes of most believers. This is why we should pray for their eyes to be opened so that they can see the power of the right hand of יהוה, even Yah, with their own eyes, as it is written:

Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? Pluck it out of thy bosom.

Psalm 74:11 [See note #46.]

The King James Version renders, untranslated, the Hebrew word kalah ["completely"] [Compare note #46.], which would have rendered it, "Pluck it out of thy bosom completely." Sometimes, we may see just a hint of the power of Elohym, perhaps by the fact that we are not completely destroyed by all the evil forces around us, yet we can get no victory over it. Thus, we long to see the power of Elohym, the overcoming victory and abundant life as promised in His word. We long to see Yah in His manifested form, fighting the enemies of Israel. We don't want to just survive, but rather, to strive and overcome, bearing fruit both physically and spiritually with abundance. We also long to give unto our fruit, that good expectation and hope that only Yah, the right hand of יהוה, can provide. It is not just a heavenly expectation, but rather, a heaven on earth, as the scriptures promise:

What man is he that feareth יהוה? Him shall He teach in the way that He shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease and His seed shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 25:12-13

For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait upon יהוה, they shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 37:9

But the meek shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalm 37:11

The righteous shall inherit the land [earth], and dwell therein forever.

Psalm 37:29 [See note #47.]

Those of us whose eyes have been opened, also long to see the right hand of יהוה, plucked completely out of His bosom, because it has been given for us to see all the power of Yah in every little detail and every great and awesome demonstration. Yet, we know that the blind will only see Yah when His power is fully demonstrated in the lives of His people, when Israel remembers who they are and rise up as a nation once again, independent of the nations of the world.

But, יהוה liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

Jeremiah 23:8

For, lo, the days come, saith יהוה, that I will bring again the captivity of My people Israel [Northern Israel, Ephraim] and Judah [Southern Israel] saith יהוה: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their forefathers, and they shall possess it.

Jeremiah 30:3

Surely after I was turned, I repented; and after I was instructed [came to know myself] I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: Therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith יהוה. Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps; set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities [the cities of ancient Israel].

Jeremiah 31:19-21 [See note #48.]

The seed of ancient Northern Israel, otherwise known of as Ephraim, will one day come to know themselves, which means they will begin to realize who they are, and then they will also remember their ancient historical resting place, which is the land of Northern Israel.

In those days, and in that time, saith יהוה, the children of Israel [Northern Israel] shall come, they and the children of Judah [Southern Israel] together, going and weeping; they shall go, and seek יהוה their Elohym. They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come and let us join ourselves to יהוה in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten. My people hath been LOST SHEEP [they forgot who they are]; their shepherds have caused them to go astray; they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they HAVE FORGOTTEN THEIR RESTING PLACE.

Jeremiah 50:4-6 [See note #48.]

In Psalm 74, the Temple has been destroyed along with all the synagogues throughout the land of Israel [Psalm 74:7-8]. Because of these things, the enemy has blasphemed the name of יהוה [Psalm 74:18], while the children of Israel, both Northern Israel [Ephraim] and Southern Israel [Judah] have been led off into captivity. Therefore, the overall context suggests that for Yah to show forth His strength and come completely out of the bosom [His place of hiding] of יהוה, He must reverse the present situation of the Psalm and rebuild the Temple and synagogues and restore both houses of Israel to the land of their forefathers, just like the prophets foretold.

[For more information on the two house teaching, see note #49.]

When an individual is under heavy persecution and his life hangs in the balance day by day, it would appear to such that the right hand of יהוה, even Yah, is hiding from sight in the bosom of יהוה, as of the dark waters and thick clouds of the presence of יהוה, in which Yah remains hidden from the realm of mankind. The Hebrew word for "thick clouds" is ab, and this is the root word for the Aramaic word for "bosom" [uwba] [See note #30]. The ab reveals that the "thick clouds" are a place of hiding [veiling], and a close look at the entire context reveals that Yah, the right hand of יהוה, was hidden in the dark waters and thick clouds of the presence of יהוה and was drawn out of the dark waters of יהוה in order to work miracles in David's life.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds [ab] of the skies [heavens]. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire. יהוה also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice [Yah, the Word], hailstones and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his arrows and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings and discomfited them. Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O יהוה, at the blast [nishmah] of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

Psalm 18:9-16 [See note #50.]

יהוה gave his voice, sent out his word, even Yah, who was hiding in the thick clouds of the presence of יהוה. Yah is the one who was drawn out of many waters, and sent to the earth. Yah is the one who made darkness His hiding place, as HE obscured himself in the dark waters and thick clouds of the heavens [See note #51]. Yet, Yah manifested himself before David by his mighty works and deliverance. Truly David was drawn out of the many waters of adversity! Nevertheless, David was a type of the Messiah who would come, and for this reason, the phrases which refer to King David, also refer to the Son of David, even the Messiah. The literal translation of Psalm 18:15, as quoted above in the King James version, causes this verse to be obscure at best and makes it out of place with what is above it and below it. However, as one delves into the Hebrew pictures behind these words, one can see that the waters in the channels no longer provide a hiding place and the foundations of the river beds are uncovered and discovered [See note #52].

The stream beds were seen.

The foundations of the river beds were uncovered at the rebuke of יהוה, at the forced breath [nishmah], which proceeded from His nostrils.

So that יהוה might send from on high and draw Yah out of many waters.

The Scriptures speak of יהוה as being a River of LIVING WATERS, and if this truth is accepted and believed in the heart and mind of the believer, then he can begin to understand that in some mysterious way, Yah was drawn out of the heavenly waters of יהוה, in order to be sent to the earth. The dark waters and thick clouds of יהוה's presence, were a hiding place for Yah; just as the Son was hidden in the bosom of the Father. The dark water and thick clouds of יהוה's presence, which kept Yah obscure, passed, so that the brightness of Yah's appearing might be made manifest before mankind. The word, "blast" [nishmah, verse 15], refers to a forced or deep breath [as if from deep within the lung cavity]. It is this forceful breath which proceeded from the nostrils of יהוה, that caused the dark waters and thick clouds to pass, or the river beds to be dried up, so that Yah could be drawn out of the many waters, so that the brightness of Yah's coming would no longer be made obscure.

When a child is born into the world in the natural sense, it is obvious that a new separate person has entered the world. When a Son is given to the mother by its father, in the human sense, no one would dispute that this father and son are two entirely separate people with separate wills. However, when a child is born, and a Son is given, who came forth from יהוה, our omnipresent Creator of heaven and earth, then one ought to consider how these picturistic Hebrew words might shed light on these things, for it is written:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty Elohym, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

[See note #40 to see why the Son is also called Father.]

This child who was born, and this Son who was given, is also called, "The mighty El" and "The Everlasting Father"! These are terms which are reserved in Scripture only for יהוה, our heavenly Father and Creator. And יהוה is also a jealous El [Deuteronomy 4:24], and there is none else beside HIM [Deuteronomy 4:35, 39]. It is also written concerning HIM:

I am יהוה: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another,..

Isaiah 42:8

Ye are my witnesses, saith יהוה, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am He: before me there was no Elohym formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am יהוה; and beside me there is no saviour.

Isa 43:10-11

... Is there a Elohym beside me? yea, there is no Elohym; I know not any.

Isaiah 44:8

Thus saith יהוה, the King of Israel, and his redeemer יהוה of hosts: "I am the first, and I am the last; and beside Me there is no Elohym."

Isaiah 44:6

And lest we think that יהוה is telling us, "Hey guys, serve only us", it is also written:

Hear 0 Israel, יהוה our Elohym is one יהוה.

Deuteronomy 6:4

Therefore, if we ascribe the attributes of "the mighty [El]" and the "Everlasting Father" to another person entirely separate from יהוה, even the Son of יהוה, then יהוה is no longer one in our eyes.

There are some who claim that this term for "Mighty El" [El Gibbowr] [See note #53], is a reference only unto the Son. However this term is also used to describe יהוה:

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon יהוה, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty Elohym.

Isaiah 10:20-21

Therefore, the same writer of Isaiah 9:6, also wrote Isaiah 10:20-21 and used the same spelling for "The mighty El" [El Gibbowr] in both contexts, of the Son and of יהוה the Father. [See note #53.]

יהוה does say that He will not give his praise to a graven image [Isaiah 42:8]. But to claim that this is the only form of idolatry which would be displeasing into יהוה, is misleading.

Yet, despite all these things, יהוה does share His glory with the child who was born into the world in His name and the Son who was given unto the world. So, for these reasons, we must look deeper into the Hebrew meaning behind these words. We will first discuss the "Son" then the terms, "child" and "born".

The first word, "son", is Ben in Hebrew and is derived from banah. [Compare #1121 to #1129]

Banah is "to build" [to erect as a house, a temple, & etc.] Yah Yeshua, the "Son" of יהוה, came to this earth to build the house of יהוה. Now in the west, when we think  of building a house, we think about building a structure for habitation. Yet, in the ancient Hebrew, this thought is secondary. The primary idea of banah is to build up a family, which is why son and daughter both derive from this same root word. Now the son had the responsibility of building up the name of his father by having many children and this was considered "'building the house of his father." Now the children have need of a solidly-built house in which to abide, so the house is for the protection of the children. Now the name of the father would pass on through his son, unto his grandchildren, through his son's lineage. This is why most people nowadays have last names, which reveals an ancient father who gave forth that name originally. This is also why the enemy fights so hard against the teaching of the name of Elohym. The enemy does not mind us playing church, as long as we are not called by the name of our heavenly Father and His Son. And this is why most of the church world continues baptizing in titles, using their one singular scripture [Matthew 28:19], which they don't understand, to establish their false doctrine.

Yet, Yeshua came to build up the name of His Father, by having many children born into the Kingdom, who are called by the name of the Father and the Son. Yah Yeshua is the builder of the house, and his children are his house, as it is written:

For this man [Yeshua] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who builded the house hath more honour than the house.

Hebrews 3:3

But MESSIAH was a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Hebrews 3:6

Moses is a part of the house, which means that he is one of the many children in the house. Yet, Yah Yeshua is the builder of the house.

Even a father can fulfill the work of a son by building up his own house, which means, "to bear many children". This idea of יהוה looking around for someone to help Him is illustrated in this verse:

And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold, therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me ...

Isaiah 63:5

יהוה built his own house with His own arm. Yes, Yah is the Arm of יהוה. But as the arm of יהוה, Yah, the Son, is also part of יהוה. That יהוה builds the house through the use of His right arm is made plain, as we read:

Except יהוה build the house, they labour in vain that build it...

Psalm 127:1

Therefore, the WILL of the Father and the Son are identical when it comes to building the house, and it is impossible for two separate distinct persons to have a single WILL between them!

The second word we must examine about the Father and Son is "child", also "born". It is the Hebrew word, yeled [#3205 and #3206].

The primary idea behind this word is "TO BE BROUGHT FORTH", just as the child coming forth from the womb of its mother when it is born. Likewise, Yah was brought forth out of hiding, out of the dark clouds of the bosom of יהוה, to come into the world. And when Yah entered the world, He was given a mortal body to dwell in, as it is written:

Because of this, when entering into the world, he [Yah] said: "In sacrifices and offerings you have no delight, so you clothed me with a body."

Hebrews 10:5, my translation

Yah was clothed with a body, so He could freely offer it up as a sacrifice upon the tree. In another context, it is shown that Yah came forth from the presence of יהוה:

Yeshua said to them, "Have you never read in the scriptures, that the stone that the builders rejected is become the head of the corner, this came about from the presence of יהוה, and it has become a wonder in our eyes."

Matthew 21:42, my translation

[See note #54]

Yah is the stone which came forth from the presence of יהוה, and this remains a wonder before the eyes and understanding of mankind. Yeshua is quoting from Psalm 118, where the main verse is:

Yah is my strength and song, and is become my salvation [Yeshua]."

Psalm 118:14.

Therefore Yah is the Stone spoken of in Psalm 118: 22-23.

The Stone the builders rejected is become the head of the corner. This is from [meeth] יהוה, who has done this, it is a wonder in our eyes."

Psalms 118:22-23 [See note #55]

The normal word in Hebrew, which is often used to represent the idea of, "from or out of", is mem [#4480 - #4482]. However, in this context, the word used is spelled meeth [#854] [See note #55]. The Mem of meeth is an attached preposition from the root word Mem (as shown above), which means "from or out of", while the eth [#854], means, "with, near, or by anyone". Therefore "meeth יהוה" means:

From the presence of

Out of the presence of [out of the water]

Not only does the Aramaic Peshitta preserve this Hebrewism of thought, but it also designates who it is who came forth from the presence of יהוה, and that is "THE STONE THE BUILDERS REJECTED". The Aramaic uses men lawth to preserve the Hebrew idea of "from the presence of" or "out of the presence of". Lawth is from the Hebrew root lavah [#3867], which means "TO ADHERE, TO BE JOINED CLOSELY TO ANY ONE". Thus when the Mem, that is "from" or "out of" is added to this, we have: "to come from the presence of", that is "from close proximity of, from standing before another". However, in the spiritual sense, this means to: "come out of the midst of". Therefore, in this context "Yah came forth out of the midst of the presence of יהוה". When a believer understands that יהוה is LIVING WATERS, that is a sea of LIVING WATERS, rather than a finite being, who the Son was able to stand literally before, then they can see, that there is no other truthful way of understanding this context. For Yah the Son came forth out of the midst of יהוה the LIVING WATERS.

The Scriptures have shown that the divine essence of יהוה is LIVING WATERS. And then the scripture has drawn the picture of Yah hiding in the thick, dark, water filled clouds of יהוה's presence, revealing by picture, that this is how the Son is in the bosom of the Father. Therefore, from all these witnesses, the believer can be assured that Yah came forth from the divine presence, even the Living Waters of יהוה, to appear in a mortal body before mankind. And this is how "a child was born into the world", who could also be called "THE MIGHTY EL", "THE EVERLASTING FATHER". Yet the distinction between this Father and Son, is unlike any human father and son relationship. Because in this instance, the "Child" is of the same substance of the Father, in that Yah the Son, came forth from the Living Waters of יהוה. So, the "Child" is also a portion of the Living Waters of the Father. Subsequently, Yah is the measure of the Living Waters, who appeared before mankind in a mortal body, in order to bring the Living Waters unto mankind, without measure, so that each soul who desires to drink thereof, can be filled, and satisfied.

If the Son simply came forth, from merely standing before the presence of the Father, then the distinction of the Father and Son, remains as two distinct persons. Yet if the Son came forth from the divine Essence of the Father, then the Son, is just like the Father, of the same substance as the Father, and in actuality, is simply an extension of the Father unto the earth. This latter idea is heavily suggested by the terms, "right hand", and "word" / "voice", which are both used to describe the function of the Son; yet both of these terms also describe something that is a part of the whole. Just as my own right hand and voice are merely attributes of my person, and never become a separate distinct person from me. They never manifest a will or desire apart from the body. [NOTE: This truth only works in relation to Yah the Son and יהוה the Father. Because it is a fact, that the flesh of Yah, and the physical mind (brain), had a will and desire, which had to submit to that of Yah, the Son, and יהוה, the Father.] The Father and Son relationship has been expounded in many ways in scripture. In this next verse it is shown that the Son is equal unto the Father:

Who, being in the form [likeness] of Elohym, thought it not robbery to be equal with Elohym.

Philippians 2:6

The Greek reading of this verse (NASB) is:

Who did not regard equality with Elohym a thing to be grasped.

Philippians 2:6

But why the difference? The answer is with what Catholic and Protestant churches would later call, "The mystery of the trinity." Greek almost seems to say, "I really can't speak for [the essential nature of Elohym] issues." Aramaic clearly says it is "not blasphemous" to grasp this truth. In reality, the divine component of [Messiah] must be understood in the context of the Tanakh [Old Testament Hebrew]. Paul is not robbing anything from the truth which was in place long before his arrival; he declares the truth which is from the beginning." - Roth, under "Coequal of Elohim" page 756 [See note #56].

The Aramaic Peshitta proves that the King James Version translators got this one right, while it also brings to light the error of modern day translators who try to rob this verse of its original meaning. By the way, the King James translators were translating this verse from the Greek text, without consulting the Aramaic Peshitta.

But how is Yah, the Son, equal unto יהוה, the Father? Because, it is written that the Son "... offered fervent prayers and pleadings with intense anxious tears" [Hebrews 5:7], unto the Father who was able to revive his physical body from death. Then, in another place, there are things that the Father knows which are not known by the Son:

For concerning the day and concerning the hour, no man knows, also not the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Mark 13:32, my translation

In one verse, the Son is praying unto יהוה, His Father, and in another verse it seems as if the Son does not know everything as the Father does. However, in the context below, the Son is clearly being called יהוה, and יהוה is being spoken of as if HE were the one being pierced.

In Zechariah 12:1, 4, 8, it is יהוה speaking, and for this reason the "Me", as found in verse ten, has to be יהוה.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his ONLY SON, and shall be in bitterness for him; as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."

Zechariah 12:10

[See note #57 for a full discussion, as to why this must be understood as: "They shall look upon me whom they have pierced."]

The New Testament bears out, that when they look upon יהוה whom they have pierced, they are looking upon the Messiah Yeshua. For when the apostle John was telling the story of the crucifixion, he pointed out that in the prophets, it reads:

They will gaze at him whom they pierced.

John 19:37, Roth

Therefore, if some translator tries to translate the Hebrew text as if the one being looked upon and the one being pierced are two different people, then we can rest assured that they have an agenda, and their agenda is to keep the reader from seeing that the Messiah is also יהוה who can be seen and pierced.

But in what way is the Messiah, יהוה, so that believers can look upon Yeshua to see יהוה? The first-century Greek translation of Philippians 2:6 reveals a first-century understanding of this concept, by its use of the word morphe [#3444] to illustrate the idea of "form", which is defined as: "(Through the idea of adjustment of parts): Shape; fig. nature: -form." This Greek word morphe finds its root in the word meros [#3313], which is defined as: "(To get a section or allotment): a division or share, pieces, portion." Therefore, the Greek reveals that Yah Yeshua, the Messiah, is a part of or portion of יהוה, and in that sense, of the same material and substance as יהוה. In other words Yah Yeshua, the Messiah, is formed from the same lump of clay, so to speak, as is יהוה, but in the spiritual sense, rather than in the fleshly. Therefore, the King James Version translators saw in what way the Messiah is equal unto יהוה, and they could see this from the Greek. However, many modern day translators have lost sight of these truths and translated their error into their translations. In the first century, the Greek translator saw the Aramaic word, damah [#1819], in the original Aramaic text before him and understood that morphe was the best word in Greek to fully illustrate the original point. The Hebrew / Aramaic word, damah, does simply mean "likeness", however the picture formed by the letters of damah reveal something deeper about the Messiah, [damah in Hebrew is formed by three consonants and no vowels]:

Daleth (D)- Something opening and closing, such as a valve, like the heart

Mem (M)- Water, or some other fluid, like "blood"

Blood is a fluid which is pumped by the heart, which is why dam means "blood" in Hebrew.

Heh (H)- Behold me, look, reveal!

Damah is used to describe likeness in any respect, but the original idea is blood likeness. That is the likeness revealed through the blood between Father and Son.

Remember though, that in the spirit, Yah, the Son, has no mother, and is thus, the exact likeness of יהוה His Father. For Yah is simply the seed which came forth from יהוה, His Father. Therefore Yah is the carbon copy of יהוה, His Father, because Yah remains an attached part of יהוה, His Father.

Remember also that Yeshua, the body [Temple] of Yah, is the product of his earthly mother, yet he still retains His heavenly Father's blood. And this is mind-boggling, because we know that יהוה has no blood.

The Scripture says that the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary [Luke 1:35], which means that the SPIRIT OF יהוה caused Mary to conceive. Therefore, in the physical sense, the blood flowing through the veins of Yeshua, the man, is His Father's blood, even יהוה. In the Spiritual sense Yah came forth from the same substance. as יהוה. Just as a son comes forth from the blood of his father, likewise Yah came forth from the Living Waters, i.e. the divine essence of יהוה. This is why Yah is our Elohym and is equal unto יהוה, because HE is formed from the same material (Spiritual) as יהוה. In using some of these terms, it may sound like, to some, that Yah was created, when in fact just the opposite is the case. For in saying that Yah came forth from יהוה, we are affirming that Yah always existed within יהוה. However; when Yah came forth from יהוה, He continued to exist as the extension of יהוה unto the earth. In this extended existence, Yah cried out to יהוה in prayer; and all things were not always revealed to the Son. [However, I believe that this is in reference unto the flesh, or the mortal, carnal mind of the Son. For all things were not revealed unto the human mind of Messiah. However, I also believe that Yah, the Son, knows all things. Thus in the Spirit, Yah knows all things, but all things were not revealed unto the flesh.]

As I said above, the word dam means "blood", in Hebrew. And the letter "H" [ה], when added to dam, is damah, which means "behold me." It is as if Yeshua is saying, "behold my blood", for "my blood is the blood of my Father." Therefore, believers can see the likeness of יהוה in Yeshua, the man. And since יהוה is omnipresent, we know this likeness has to do with character rather than the flesh. That is the same works, etc. The physical blood is also a type of the Living Waters. For just as the physical blood must pass from father to son, likewise a portion of the Living Waters must also pass from our Heavenly Father unto His Son. Remember this... There still remain three things upon the earth which continue to bear witness to the resurrecting power of our Lord Yah Yeshua, the Messiah:

Water

Spirit

Blood

[1 John 5:8]

Now that we have examined the idea behind "child" / "born" [Isaiah 9:6] and understand that it simply means to come forth, and we know that Yah came forth from the Living Waters of יהוה, we can see that this idea of "coming forth", in the spiritual sense, does not have to mean "two persons", one coming forth from another. Rather, the Hebrew reveals that when Yah came forth from יהוה, that He did so as an extension of יהוה, rather than as a completely different person, with a separate will, desire, etc.

Therefore the phrase "For unto us a child is born", merely reveals the manner in Which Yah came forth from יהוה in the beginning. And the phrase "unto us a Son is given", reveals the main purpose for the Son's arrival in the world, which is to build the House of יהוה, which means to bear many children in the name of יהוה, and then to build them a habitation for dwelling. However Yah is building the House of יהוה, as the right arm of יהוה, proving that יהוה Himself is the true builder. Because Yah is the extension of the power of יהוה upon the earth.

Neither one of these terms indicate "two persons" in the [the essential nature of Elohym]! For יהוה and Yah are ONE!

5.b.7 - In the Name of the Holy Spirit: Matthew 28:19

It is agreeable to most people that the name of the Father is יהוה and the name of the Son is Yeshua, or as an examination of the Hebrew and Aramaic text reveals YAH YESHUA, however, what did Yah Yeshua mean by "THE NAME OF THE HOLY SPIRIT"? The key verse for this concept is found in the Hebrew Scriptures of Isaiah 12:2-3.

...For Yah יהוה is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation [YESHUA]. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation [Yeshua].

Isaiah 12:2-3 [See note #58]

What does Yah יהוה have to do with our salvation [Yeshua]?

It is revealed in Psalms, chapter 68, that while יהוה was riding the heaven of heavens [Shamayim], He gave forth His voice, which was a mighty voice [Psalm 68:32-33]. This idea of יהוה riding upon the heavens [Shamayim] is contrasted with Yah riding upon the desert [arabot] places of the earth, seeking for the rebellious souls dwelling there [Psalm 68:4, 6, 18]. Therefore, Yah is the voice or word of יהוה that was sent forth unto the earth.

The word is also the seed of יהוה, which is placed in the heart of the believer, as the believer hears the word. As it is written:

But he that receiveth seed into the good ground is he that heareth the Word and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Matthew 13:23

Yah is this seed of the word which is sown into the hearts of believers as they hear the word. The believer's heart is made clean by the word which he hears, which is why it is written:

Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth.

John 17:17

Yet for Yah, the word, to grow as a seed within our hearts, we must empty ourselves of all the things which are choking the word, giving the word no room to grow, which is why it is written:

I know that you are the seed of Abraham, but you seek to kill me, because you would not empty yourselves for my word.

John 8:37 (Aramaic verse 26)

The Pharisees would not empty themselves to make room for the word of Messiah. The Aramaic word used here for "empty" is capag [#5606], which means "to vomit forth". [See note #59]. Thus there were many things being kept in the hearts of these Jewish leaders, which prevented the word from growing within them.

However, if Yah, the seed, is to grow within, the seed must be watered by יהוה the Living Waters, which is why it is written:

That he might sanctify it [the assembly] and cleanse it [the assembly] with the washing of water and with the word.

Ephesians 5:26 Aramaic

The Greek texts reads: "...with the washing of water by the word". But, the waters being spoken of here, refer to the Living Waters of יהוה. Thus the assembly is cleansed by the word and the Living Waters of יהוה. Therefore, in this context, the washing of water refers to the spiritual baptism, that is, the receiving of the Living Waters. There is one other reason that I don't believe this refers to water baptism: because Yah, the seed, alone, is not enough for the believer to be made complete and whole, which is why it is written:

That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in me, and I in Thee, THAT THEY ALSO MAY BE ONE IN US:

John 17:21 (emphasis mine)

We can be ONE in the Father and Son, by allowing Yah the seed to call out to יהוה the Living Waters, so that the Living Waters, will also come and dwell in us, so that Yah, the seed, can be united with יהוה, the Living Waters within us.

Once a believer realizes that Yeshua is the Temple of Yah, our Elohym, Yah, the seed, becomes planted within their hearts. This should lead the believer to call out to Yah Yeshua as his Elohym and Master, so that He will send him the Living Waters, which is יהוה, the Father, so that Yah and יהוה will unite in the believer's heart and soul as the Holy Spirit, abiding within him. Subsequently, to be made completely clean, we all must be washed by יהוה the Living Waters and Yah, the word, united within us.

However, the "us" does not describe separate and distinct persons, as with a separate will, desire, etc. Yet it does describe separate functions within יהוה, functions of which יהוה wants His people to understand:

יהוה, the Father, Creator, the omnipresent invisible Living Waters of life

Yah Yeshua, the Son. The one through whom the worlds were created. The source of the Living Waters, the Life Giver, The word of יהוה, the seed of יהוה, the right hand of יהוה and the extension of יהוה unto the earth. Yah Yeshua, the Son, reveals the omnipresent, invisible יהוה to the world.

Yah יהוה, the Holy Spirit. When Yah, the seed of יהוה within the believer, is united with יהוה, the Living Waters, this unification of the Father and Son causes the Holy Spirit to abide in the believer.

For far too long, Matthew 28:19 has been used in reference to water baptism, only, as if it were a formula to recite. Yet in the book of Acts, from the Greek text, it is the name of the Son being used in baptism. When Acts 2:38 is examined in the Aramaic Peshitta, one realizes that the apostles baptized in the name of the Master Yah Yeshua, which is simply the full name of the Son. The reason why, is because water baptism is a type of death and burial, and יהוה never died and was never buried.

[Water baptism in the name of the Son is spoken of in detail in chapters 3, 4, & 6, while the historical biblical relationship to the name of יהוה, the Father, in our spiritual baptism is discussed in chapter 7.]

5.b.8 - Yeshua: The Only Source of Living Waters

Yah, the Son, was hidden in the dark waters and the thick clouds of the presence of יהוה. Then Yah was drawn out of the dark waters and came forth from the thick clouds of יהוה. These dark waters are like unto the bosom of יהוה, from which Yah came forth to be born into the world, in order to make His appearance upon this earth before mankind, as like it is written:

Now they know that whatsoever you have given to me, is from your presence. For the word you have given to me, I have given to them, and they have received it, and truly they know, that I came forth from your presence, and they believe that you sent me.

John 17:7-8, Aramaic, my translation

Therefore, Yah came forth from the midst of the divine essence of יהוה!

The separation of the heavenly waters from the earthly waters, in the beginning, caused the earth to be devoid of heavenly waters. For a while these waters came down from heaven to earth through paradise and the rivers of Eden, which made the garden of Eden a paradise on earth. But through the fall of Adam, the heavenly waters were cut off unto the earth. Yet יהוה is omnipresent, and HE continued to dwell on the earth in the form of the Holy Spirit. Mankind could, at times, have an experience with יהוה through the form of His Holy Spirit, but no man could ever experience His Living Waters. A new route had to be found so that mankind could again experience יהוה, the Living Waters!

Because of Adam's sin and rebellion, all mankind has been cursed with death. The death is two-fold:

  1. The physical body must die and return to dust,

  2. The created spirit in mankind has been cut off from the life-giving Living Waters of יהוה.

Just as the earthly body requires refreshing by earthly air, like the animals, likewise the created spirit in man requires refreshing from the Holy Spirit of יהוה. Just as the physical body requires earthly water to survive, likewise the created spirit in man needs Living Waters for sustenance and growth towards all righteousness. Mankind has need of the concentrated presence of יהוה, not just a little touch of the Holy Spirit. A lack of Living Waters will bring death to the created spirit in mankind. This is why יהוה desires for His people to know HIM as the life-giving Waters. But this type of intimate relationship was not available to mankind, because יהוה had blocked off their entrance to the tree of life:

So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Genesis 3:24 (compare to Revelation 22:1-2.)

For, once upon a time, the Living Waters flowed as (olive oil) from the tree of life, but due to sin, this route to the Living Waters has been blocked forever.

Originally, יהוה placed heaven in the midst of the Waters, to separate the spiritual, heavenly Waters, from the physical earthly waters:

And Elohym said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And Elohym made the firmaments and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And Elohym called the firmament heaven...

Genesis 1:6-8

After יהוה separated the spiritual Waters from the physical waters; HE then made the garden of Eden, so that man could have constant access to the heavenly waters of יהוה. But after the fall, man was separated from the heavenly waters, in fact the Living Waters no longer moved among men, and therefore could not glorify His Holy Name before the eyes of mankind, which is why it is written:

Praise HIM, ye heaven Of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

Psalm 148;4

The Hebrew word here for praise is halal [#1984], which means, "to shine, make a show, to boast" and to glorify before men. Yet, with these Living spiritual Waters being cut off from Moving before mankind, יהוה was not able to get the "praise" before the eyes of mankind, which HE deserves. As long as this state of affairs remained unchanged, mankind could never comprehend the essence of יהוה, and intimate communion between יהוה and man was impossible.

יהוה desired to share His essence with Israel, but Israel could not even see their need for spiritual Living Waters, as it is written:

O יהוה, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken יהוה, the fountain of Living Waters.

Jeremiah 17:13

Yet, יהוה had cut off all mankind, they no longer understood What Living Waters were. So When יהוה offered them to mankind through His Son, most rejected HIM.

By rejecting the Son, mankind as a whole has also rejected יהוה, the Father, because it is only through the Son that mankind has access unto the Living Waters of יהוה. As a whole, mankind rejected the Son, because they could not understand who HE really is. In their eyes, Yeshua was a mere mortal man, and at best a prophet or a king-to-be. However, in the eyes of others, the Son is the second person of the trinity, or perhaps the second person of the twinity (dualism). Few understood that Yah Yeshua is the right hand of יהוה and the voice or word of יהוה, and as such, simply the extension of יהוה upon the earth. Many saw the light, however, they did not comprehend it [John 1:5]. Even those who believed in HIM did not completely understand HIM [John 2:23-24], and of those who believed and understood in part, Yeshua left this message for them:

... If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:31-32

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send  in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:26

In order to receive instructions from the Holy Spirit, one must receive the Holy Spirit. But then after receiving the Holy Spirit, one should continue in the word and study and pray and seek for all truth. Yet, so many have been content with "salvational truths", and for this reason have refused to seek for all truth. So, instead of bearing much fruit, they have born very little fruit, and that which remains is just barely alive with very little strength. And even sadder are those who have sought for nothing but "salvational truths" and have even fallen short of that. But, look at the great miracles which happen in their midst:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity [lawlessness].

Matthew 7:21-23

It is hard to believe, that there would be believers in the earth, who had faith enough in Yeshua to work all these great miracles in His name. Yet they would reject the law of יהוה, and thus become workers of iniquity. In the context, these believers did not bear fruit. However, it is hard to imagine that believers who worked all these miracles would be entirely fruitless for their labors. However, it is certain from the entire context, that their fruit was not found acceptable unto Yah Yeshua, and was called, a lack of fruit entirely. [See note #60.]

The cornerstone for all Christian belief and faith, is based upon the revelation of who the Son of יהוה really is, each group or denomination of believers attempts to expound on the deity within Yeshua in different ways, however, by dismissing the name of YAH יהוה, their explanations are just the reasonings of mere men, rather than the truth which is able to set the believer completely free, Yeshua made it plain:

...if ye believe not that I AM (he), ye shall die in your sins.

John 8:24

The King James translators added the word "he", which is not found in the Aramaic original or the Greek translations of the New Testament, Yeshua is the singular "GREAT I AM" of Exodus 3:14. Believing this, with the proper understanding, is foundational to Christian faith. This full understanding is revealed only through the Hebrew Old Testament and the Aramaic Peshitta New Testament Scriptures, through the name of Yah, יהוה, and Yeshua. The enemy knows the divine essence is revealed through: the name of Yah יהוה, and it is for this reason, that the enemy continues to fight against those who proclaim the name. For once the divine essence has been fully revealed through the name, the Living Waters will be poured out upon those who call upon the name. This revelation and outpouring is destined to happen in the last days, as it is written:

... For Yah יהוה is my strength [praise] and my song; he also is become my salvation [Yeshua]. Therefore with joy ye shall draw water out of the wells of salvation [Yeshua].

Isaiah 12:2-3 [See note #61.]

It is when believers realize the essence of revelation revealed through this context and call upon His name with this understanding that they will receive the Living Waters from Yeshua, the man. Yeshua, the man, is the fulfillment of the type, represented by the Rock that followed the children of Israel through the wilderness, as it is written:

And they were all made one, by drinking the same spiritual drink, for they all drank from that spiritual Rock that came with them, for that Rock is the Messiah,

1 Corinthians 10:4, Aramaic, my  translation

[See note #62.]

Yeshua fulfills so many functions in bringing mankind to יהוה that even if it were possible to list them all, it would still be beyond the scope of this book.

However, these foundational functions should he understood by all believers:

  • Yeshua died in fallen man's place by becoming his blood atonement / remission.

  • Yeshua is the only mediator between יהוה and mankind.

  • Yah became Yeshua [Salvation], so He could dwell with men, reigning over them as King and High Priest.

  • Yeshua rose from the dead and ascended to heaven so that the Living Waters could flow from Him unto mankind, as they call upon His name in faith [expectation].

    • This gives mankind a specific place to look to and a specific name to call upon to get a measure of the Living Waters which came forth from Yeshua.

    • This allows the fury of יהוה's wrath to be appeased, for the Holy Spirit / Living Waters and the blood become one in Yeshua [1 John 5:8], atoning for the sins of repentant mankind.

Yeshua reveals that it is necessary for Him to go away, and shows why:

... For if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart. I will send him unto you.

John 16:7

When speaking of the measure of the Living Waters, given to mankind as a gift of the Messiah, Paul the apostle confirms that Yeshua had to first ascend unto the highest heaven:

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill [fulfill] all things.

Ephesians 4:10 [Compare Ephesians 4:7-10]

There is one other thing I'd like to share with you about Isaiah 12:2-3. It has already been stated that: Yah יהוה will become salvation [Yeshua]. But in verse three, where it reads, "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of [the] salvation", I have placed the definite article before salvation [Y'shuah], as it is found in the Original Hebrew, that is "the Salvation" [HAY'SHUAH]. The definite article ha, is pointing out a specific place, to where all must go to draw forth a drinkable measure of Living Waters from the well, which is the man Yeshua. Therefore, all must go to Yeshua, "the Salvation" in order to receive Yah, the word, in their hearts and then back to Yeshua to receive יהוה, the Living Waters. We look to Yeshua by faith with expectation and hope, believing that He is the only source of life, the only source of Living Waters, through whom we have access unto Yah יהוה, only through Yeshua, the man! Knowing this, we also realize that Yeshua is faithful to send forth the Living Waters to all seekers who have Yah the seed abiding in them.

If Yah, the word, is abiding in your heart, seek Yeshua for יהוה, the Living Waters so that the Father and the Son can be united in your soul, in the form and function of the HOLY SPIRIT.

5.b.9 - Push through to the River of Living Waters

It is written of how Ezekiel, in vision, is being brought through the waters to the ankles, knees and waist [Ezekiel 47:3-4]. The man with the measuring line in his hand appears to be the same one who is helping Ezekiel push through the waters. The word used here for "he brought me through", is the Hebrew word abar [#5674], which means "to cross over", as if "to cross over a river or stream". This is the same root word as the word for "Hebrews", that is a people who have crossed over, as in the crossing over the Jordan in order to enter the promised land.

As concerning the depth of the waters, this does not seem to be the most important thing. It is more important, for the waters to be flowing and moving, so they will not become stagnant. Because the stagnant waters were given over to salt and could not be healed [Ezekiel 47:11]. However, it is apparent that the measures of water are given in greater measure each time, in order to lead us all individually and collectively to the river of Living Waters.

It was a great effort for Ezekiel to push through the waters unto the greater depth; just as it was a great effort for the apostles to tarry for the Holy Spirit [Luke 24:49]; just as it takes great patience to wait for the promise of the Father [Acts 1:4]. Yet, the days of coming to the altar of prayer and repentance, and waiting and tarrying all night for a move of the Holy Spirit, are over. Now we are told that we should not come and kneel at the altar anymore, rather, we should come and stand and offer thanksgiving and praise and forget about repentance and confession. The spiritual thermometers of these preachers is broke; they cannot discern the seriousness of the sins which have swept over our nation and churches. They have not seen the need for weeping and crying out to Yah Yeshua at an altar of repentance. They have not been able to discern that it is essential for the church to tarry for a renewing of the Holy Spirit.

If we, as a church, push through all night, yet the waters are still only to the ankles, then for what reason would we shout and dance in victory? Isn't it more in order, to push through some more with weeping and crying and travailing in the Spirit, until we at least get to the depth of the knees? Yet, when we reach the depth of the knees, is this now the time for dancing in the Spirit and running around the church? Or, is it time to pray and intercede some more until the waters are unto the waist? I realize that by the time we as a church have prayed in the Spirit unto the depth of the waist, that each individual is physically tired and worn out in the flesh. Yet in the Spirit we desire to dance and in the Spirit we desire to run and render thanksgiving and praise as is proper unto Yah our Elohym.

But, if we stop now, not pushing through some more, we will never come unto the river of Living Waters, which no mortal man can push through. Why is it so important to push through unto this place? Because, the Living Waters must make a complete circuit in order to be healed, as it is written:

... These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: Which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

Ezekiel 47:8-9 (emphasis mine)

The HEALINGS do not begin en masse, until they come unto the RIVER to be HEALED, which means that the church must push through so that it can bring souls unto this RIVER OF LIVING WATERS.

Howbeit, if we don't push through, our own souls may also become desolate, as it is written:

But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

Ezekiel 47:11

In the spiritual sense, the River of Living Waters must travel in circuit from Yah Yeshua, unto Paradise and the four corners of the earth, then back into the "Sea", and then from there, back into heaven. [NOTE: Right below heaven is a place called: "Paradise", "Eden", "Abraham's Bosom", "The Sea", "The Waters"].

The waters must be allowed to flow unhindered by the love of the world, the lust of the flesh or the pride of life. But to get those hindrances out of the way, the church must travail in the Spirit and tarry for a renewing of the LIVING WATERS with tears of repentance and confession.

If we are satisfied with where we are at, while the world is spiraling out of control all around us, then perhaps the word of Yah has not even been planted into our hearts, and if it has, perhaps there was no depth of earth. Or maybe the love of this world and the cares and pressures of life have so overwhelmed us, that we are beyond caring, beyond hearing the voice of Yah. Thus, seeking and tarrying for the LIVING WATERS, as they flow from Yah Yeshua, is out of the question and does not even rise up on our radar of things to do; certainly not as things WE MUST GET DONE.

If the urgency of the great sins in the United States and in the church is not enough to cause us as a people to push through the waters, then what will it take?

If we want to be spared from destruction, if we want our families to be spared, we will do as the righteous men remaining in Jerusalem did; for they prayed and cried out to יהוה because of all the abominations they saw being done in their Temple and in their city, as it is written:

And יהוה said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that SIGH and that CRY for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Ezekiel 9:4 (emphasis mine)

If we are to be spared, we must not only sigh and cry out in prayer concerning the sins of our once great nation, but we also must push through in the Spirit, until we reach the depth of the RIVER OF LIVING WATERS, so we can bring healing and deliverance to multitudes.

However, as we are delving deeper into the Spirit, it will be a mistake if we neglect and fail to appreciate the importance of the NAME in this end times revival.

Why is the name so important? Because any unclean spirit can proclaim that Jesus is Lord. However, only a man filled with the Holy Spirit and armed with the fullness of the truth, can proclaim that the Master Yah is Yeshua, as 1 Corinthians 12:3 reads in the Original New Testament, the Aramaic Peshitta.

BASED UPON THIS SOLID FOUNDATION, PAUL GOES ON TO EXPLAIN MORE ABOUT THE ESSENTIAL NATURE OF ELOHYM:

For there are a diversification of gifts, but the SPIRIT is ONE.

1 Corinthians 12:4 Aramaic Peshitta [my translation]

The Holy Spirit itself is a gift unto all, sincere believers, but in this context, these are gifts Which spring up from the Holy Spirit, Which differ in nature, one from another, But Paul's point is clear, though, many gifts differ, they all derive from ONE SPIRIT. And the revealed name of the Holy Spirit is Yah יהוה!

And there are a diversification of services [works to be done in the kingdom], but the Lord YAH is ONE.

1 Corinthians 12:5 Aramaic [my translation] [See note #63]

As already revealed above, the Master Yah is Yeshua, and HE came to this earth to be a servant, so that: his people would follow his example, yet there are many different types of services we may do for the Kingdom, just as there are many different levels of anointing required for the different types of services, even if my anointing for service differs from yours, the giver of that anointing, that is the Master YAH, is ONE.

And there is a diversification of Power, but יהוה is ONE, who works all in all men.

1Corinthians 12:6 [my translation] [See note #64]

Is there really three "ONES"? Or is Paul revealing that ultimately all the gifts and all the services proceed from יהוה, who is all in all? I hope by now that you see that this latter is precisely Paul's point. Paul is also making reference to what the Jewish people call "The Shema", that is:

Hear 0 Israel, יהוה our Elohym is ONE יהוה.

Deuteronomy 6:4.

This is a declaration of Monotheism for all true believers who know the truth. However, within יהוה are the functions of "Father", "Son", and "Holy Spirit"! All three functions are simply different occurrences of one singular divine Nature. The Aramaic Peshitta uses the word qnoma to mean "an occurrence of a nature". This word is used to describe the singular divine Nature of יהוה, which has many occurrences of that nature. This singular divine nature, though, does not have separate persons, there is only ONE person [being], and that is יהוה.

When explaining this concept in reference to the Messiah, Paul continues:

For as the body is one, and in it are many members; and all those members of the body, though many, are one body; so also is the Messiah.

1 Corinthians 12:12 Roth [See note #66]

"One of the clearest statements about [the essential nature of Elohym] in the entire New Testament relationship between יהוה and Yeshua is like that of the mind [head] to a limb of the body. The arm is not a separate entity from the body, nor does it move in any way other than with the full power and intent of the mind. Yeshua is literally the arm of יהוה in this manner [Exodus 6:6, 23:20-22, Isaiah 53:1]. This statement by Rav Shaul proves that this idea is not some modernized Nazarene doctrine, but the original doctrine of Messiah which is founded in the Tanakh;..." - Quote from Roth, Page 522, note 55, for verse 12.

This also helps one to understand exactly what Paul meant by the root word damah, as discussed already at length in Pages 42-45, concerning this context:

Who, being in the form [likeness] of Elohym, thought it not robbery to be equal with Elohym.

Phil 2:6 [brackets from Aramaic] [See note #66]

Because the word for "form" / "likeness" is from the same root word as "members" as found above in 1 Corinthians 12:12. And the Greek translator of the Aramaic renders morphe, which means "(Through the idea of adjustment of parts): Shape; fig. nature:- form." The root of morphe is meros [#3313], which is defined as: "(To get a section or allotment): a division or share,.., pieces, portion,.." And of course, this brings us right back around to the illustration of the body parts, that is many parts of one body or person. Thus the Messiah has many parts, but is only one person. For the Messiah. Himself is simply the arm of יהוה, and is thus, a part or portion of יהוה. Therefore the Greek translator was looking deep into the meaning of damah, to relate it as a part which is formed from the whole of יהוה. The Aramean Church of the East believes that the Messiah has two qnomas, one human and the other divine. A qnoma is a occurrence of nature, and at one point the Messiah's nature appears human, and then at another time the Messiah's nature appears divine. However the Messiah's divine nature also has many occurrences. For His divine nature occurs as the word, and then as the Father in creation, and then as the Holy spirit in regeneration and renewing.

Yah יהוה as the Holy Spirit, moves in the lives of His people who will or have sought after HIM, giving gifts unto them, while the lord Yah Yeshua anoints His followers with the anointing and calling to serve. While יהוה works the same in the lives of all mankind, the believers and the unbelievers, the righteous and the unrighteous. This is why it is written that no man comes to the Son, unless the Father draws him, giving him understanding to follow the light. [John 6:44, See note #65]. This preeminence of the Father, יהוה, over the Son, Yah, is spoken of by Paul in another place:

For HE [Yah Yeshua] is to reign, until HE [יהוה] will put all his enemies under his feet. And, the last enemy, death, will be abolished. For HE [יהוה] has subjected all under his [Yah's] feet, but when he said, that everything is subjected to HIM [Yah], it is (spiritually) understood that HE [יהוה] is excepted, who subjected all, to Him [Yah]. And when all will be subjected to Him [Yah], then the Son [Yah] Himself will be subject to HIM [יהוה] Who subjected all to Him [Yah], so that Elohym [יהוה] will be all in all.

1 Corinthians 15:27-28 Roth [brackets mine]

The right hand is very useful and gets much done, but it never lifts itself up over the entire body. And even if this specific right hand has been given a position of honor above the other parts of the body, it will still at some time point out and reveal the glory and honor due to the rest of the body, rather than trying to hold all the glory for itself. Yah is equal unto יהוה, inasmuch as He is of the same substance, and is part of יהוה, and went out from יהוה. However, ultimately, even "the part" of יהוה, will subject Himself to the whole. This is why Yah said:

I can of mine own self do nothing.

John 5:30

Because a part of Elohym is dependant upon the whole.

Likewise, Yah came to this earth to lead His people unto the Father [יהוה]. Because it is not the will of יהוה for His people to know HIM only partially, but HE desires for His people to know Him fully.

A portion of Living Water, will lead us unto a greater portion. of Living Water, which will, lead us unto a still greater measure of the Living Waters, which if we continue therein, will lead us unto the RIVER OF LIVING WATERS, which is Yah יהוה. In this place there will be many healings and much deliverance of every kind. Yet, even the RIVER OF LIVING WATERS is not an end all, because it leads unto the "Sea", which heals the waters. Thus יהוה is all in all. This is why it is written:

And יהוה shall be King over all the

earth: in that day shall there be ONE יהוה, and his name ONE.

Zechariah 14:9
