Phrases

 

For various reasons, this blog uses some words and phrases that may not be recognizable by most western readers.  Theses include:

1. Torah - Hebrew for instruction, and is used to represent the complete Hebrew Old Testament text..

2.  יהוה         - The Hebrew name of Elohiym (God), which is commonly mispronounced in many ways:

                        Jehovah, Yahweh, Yahuwah, and the list goes on... This is used to refer specificly to the 

                         Father.

3. Yah-     this is known of as the short form of יהוה, but refers specificly to the Son.  This name means

                 "HE IS", the self existant one.

4. Elohiym-  This is Hebrew for "God", and is used to preserve the Hebrew roots nature of these studies.

5. Mashiyach- This is Hebrew for "Christ" and is also said "Messiah".  This means "anointed one".
